Owner is a gauger. He gauged the price on my rental by adding dollies and moving pads he knows wasn’t on the truck. Tried to call about it and uhaul was very rude. I will not recommend this guy or his location for anything

I reserved a cargo van online the same day that I needed it. Since I was using it to help someone locally and my license was out-of-state, the online check-in had problems processing. I went inside the hardware store and spoke to the owner. He was very nice and helpful. He took care of the entire rental process, making things much easier. The van was still new looking and clean with no damage. It was perfect for my needs. I highly recommend this Uhaul location.

I reserved a truck however the truck isn’t there there’s other trucks here which they won’t let me get because other people have reservations for which makes no sense that they honor other peoples reservations but not mine horrible business then John wants to give me an attitude Because I said this is a horrible way to do business

The store location, Indian Trail Hardware Inc., itself is fine, and the owners are very friendly. The trucks they had were awful. I rented a 10' Truck for 1 day. Three people helping me move ended up getting their fingers caught on the truck's back door (one of them ended up bleeding) because you couldn't close the door by pulling on the handle itself. You have to try to get the hook of the door under the frame of the truck to have enough clearance to close it. It was a pain --literally. The interior of the truck was super dirty, the seats were cut up and really ragetty, you had to get out of the car to be able to move the seat front and back to adjust for your height, only one of the side-view mirror swiveled correctly to be adjusted –which is super dangerous, and thankfully the lights on the truck were "automatic†since you actually can't physically turn the knob to turn the lights on. I drove the truck back to the store the night we got it, and I had to put the lights on “high beam†mode in order to drive properly. We didn't do an inspection of the truck with the store's manager because he was busy with another customer, so we took pictures of the outside of the beat-up truck ourselves just in case. They didn't have the furniture pads we reserved or the right dolly. I wouldn't recommend this place, and I will look at some other company before reserving a U-Haul again.

They force you to buy insurance that you don't have to have.
