Two customers in line at checkout and staff wouldn't come check us out. I spoke to them, said good morning and still no one came to check us out. The store was a mess and shelves not stocked, but that seems to be an issue at most Dollar General stores now.

The shelves are always empty and product just scattered across the floor while employees just smoke outside, I wasn't going to do this but this has been an issue for awhile and is very inconvenient.

The girl with the nose earring, Hannah, is very rude as well as prejudice. She has an attitude with mostly african american people. She was very rude when I was checking out. If she has an attitude with her working conditions, then quit! Other people just take the disrespect, but I be damned if I will. maybe I should get a lawyer to tame her prejudice attitude!

they have cats and dogs in the store ...i've seen alot of people scared to come in the store to shop ...take me as one of them because i'm very afraid of animals therefor i cant shop in a store that has animals in them....and these are not emotional support animals either...the empoyees are petting them or they are feeding them then they go ring up peoples products which is unsanitary ......They don't ever have what you need in the store. plus you can't get up and down the aisles to shop for what you need..This is the store in Oglethorpe GA.31068...JUst dissapointing...

I moved to Vienna about 2 months ago I go to this. Store probably 2 to 3 times a day not much in Vienna you see. I stay in Dollar general I'm from Perry and I stay in Dollar general so much that a friend of mine said we're going to have to have an intervention. Lol. However I went in this one when we first moved here every night at 9:00 they were closing they didn't care they weren't opening the door up they just closed so when I called home office because I get off late and would like to be able to go in and get my stuff that time and now. how was your night I went in there he's usually a bigger lady in there she's a manager I don't know her name but she's very nice it was a smaller one there tonight and there's a new guy working there and he is just clueless. I spent $80 in the store tonight and I didn't bring my cash with me so I was $7 short and had to put that back which is fine with me be screws at me hey what did you say you were going to go take a bath I sit at home and you showed me this bad stuff to take a bath with it was great you know. However I was $7 short on my order. I don't know how other people do it but I was embarrassed to death and they're trying to get home and no one is opening up another register and there's 10 people behind me and none of them are happy about it I apologize for the manager she looks at me like I'm Satan. And the young man's knew he doesn't know what to do so I was made to feel like I was , well I don't know how to word it but it was bad maybe you're employee should have to have some kind of confidence when they're working but I guess until then you will make sure you do it

I work at this location and the manager is awesome and my coworkers always go out of their way to help the customers. Very proud to call this place my work home.

This Dollar General has been in Oglethorpe roughly 4yrs. I've shopped here on several occasions when I'm in town. Today I specifically came in for laundry detergent for my mom. Of course as I walked around I spotted cute things to add to my cart . One of the cute items is a decorative box that can be used for "stuff" or . I've been looking for a hat box so it was perfect timing. Low and behold the inside of the box lid had come a loose partially. The price of this large box is $10. I get to the register I inform the cashier. She looks at me and says "What do you want me to do about it?". I then say well can you discount the damage. She then say my manager would have to handle. Assuming the mgr was not in as she was the only associate in the store. I told her never mind I'll buy it as is. There was a stocker on the floor. He walked by me twice without acknowledging I was there. No Good Morning, No hello. I know it's 9:15 AM but you're to acknowledge your customers. The interior of the store was clean. Shelves were not fully stocked and this could be due to the weekend rush. Carts were in the aisles to restock the shelves. Dollar General for the most part always cute decorative items that sell out quickly. One tip is buy it when you see it bc it will for sure be gone the next time you're there. I give 3 stars due to lack of interest of meeting the customers needs or concerns and lack of acknowledgement of customers. Also, the parking lot needs more lighting. The only lights outside are the lights on the sign and building. The parking lot and around the building is too dark. Possibly more customer service training is needed. Hopefully management or the owner sees this review and address the issues noted.
