This was a great experience. Bob is a skilled gunsmith. He took my Glock 43x and customized it for ease of use. I have arthritis and some of the more intricate work is too difficult for me. In any case it really improved my handling. Price was good and worth every penny. Plus Bob is a great story teller. My Glock 19 needs similar work. I'll be returning soon.

Every time we drive up from Florida to visit our buddy who lives in Newnan, he always takes us out to Bob's for a day of shooting. It's a great place!

Brought rifle in to get muzzle brake installed.
Knew exactly what I needed.
I ended up talking to Bob for a couple of hours.
Nice gentleman and very knowledgeable about gunsmith.
Highly recommended!!

How do I get a membership? I am always utilizing the indoor range and need to get outdoors!

I was told the shooting range is for members only when the site clearly says you don’t have to have a membership something I have never heard in my life out of all the ranges I have been too and if I needed a membership where’s is the paper for me to sign to become a member I have the money , couldn’t enjoy myself maybe cause I was black lol

Bob did some work on my Remington 700 a while back. He added threads to my muzzle, installed a brake/suppressor mount, and "worked on my trigger". The threads visually appear to be cut properly. Well, at least the brake has yet to be launched off. However, the work (I paid for) he was supposed to do on my trigger, specifically the bolt release, was never done. I meant to leave this review when I got my rifle back and discovered work in my trigger still needed to be completed. After my conversation with him today about another project, I recalled that years ago l, I told myself not to use him in the future.

You will not find a better gunsmith to work with than Bob Sims at Bob's custom firearms in Palmetto GA. Extensive knowledge and a lifetime of experience. He's not really interested in tactical weapons.
