Sent my granddaughter an envelope via certified mail. I'm in Florida and the mail is only in Palmetto, Ga. 10 days later. No one answers the phone. I feel I have no recourse. At the mercy of the USPS. :)

Nightmare. I sell on ebay and have stopped using USPS because of the Palmetto Facility. I live in Florida. Packages traveling North that were processed thru the facility were either tied up for weeks or NEVER arrived at their correct destination. There are plenty of posts and videos online documenting the abuse. For someone wanting to make money, mail a package, insure it for the MAX , and make sure it goes through Palmetto. This is just a JOKE of course. But so is the current USPS.

Package was supposed to be delivered today 4/28/25. It reached palmetto ga 3 days ago and got shipped to Chicago Il. Now it’s going to another facility even further away last update! Never in my life!!

This post office has serious issues. My boxes I send out from Dacula always get lost in limbo once it arrives at Palmetto! They really need to investigate this place because there is some major theft going on there! My stuff comes and it’s so obvious that it’s been opened and re-taped and items missing. I sent a box of personal items to my CA address over a month and a half ago and it still shows in transit there, that box contains some irreplaceable items from my family. Even my mailman here in Dacula says his stuff is stuck in transit mode there, it’s been a month! Total criminal activity that needs to be addressed NOW!!!

I'm sure someone has said this before......
I would give them ZERO stars if possible. This facility was a HORRIBLE idea. They probably don't even bother to read their reviews. Have had issues with every package mailed for at least a year. Yet they keep raising prices. We are paying for TERRIBLE service.

Literally the worst service for packages. Have had them go from Florida to Atlanta to palmetto to Alabama back to Atlanta to Macon. Should shut them down and use fedex or ups for packages

Please complain to your federal congressman or senator so that this corrupt, non-functional, horrible place gets shut down. I am a disabled veteran that has been waiting on medication for over a week that keeps getting re-scanned. Please send an email to your elected represenative. This is not okay.

I have been waiting for three weeks! This is rediculous!
Update: I finally received my package yesterday after waiting for over a month. The box was completely banged up, and to make matters worse, half of the contents were missing. On top of that, there was mail inside the package that belonged to other people, clearly showing that it had been opened and tampered with.
This is absolutely unacceptable and beyond ridiculous. I have already filed a theft report, and I expect this to be addressed immediately.

My package has been stuck at this post office for 2 weeks. This happened to me in 2021 at this same post office. These workers are lazy as hell and it’s not fair to the consumer. I’m Pissed
