After helping our family with putting down our last dog with empathy, the clinic is helping us take care of our new dog. We've been taking her there since we adopted her and the whole staff really are kind and competent. When consulting with Dr. Mac, we always get a long term, honest approach in the best interest of our pet. I highly recommend. Caring and knowledgeable, you get what you pay for.

Best atmosphere for my Shar Pei Lab mix. He's a very loving dog and had no anxiety when we visited.

I was so overwhelmed how kind every person I came into contact with was to me and my pet. I wasn’t able to get to see my regular vet but knew I needed to get my pet to see someone. I am so glad I went here. I’ll be moving both my pets health care to this facility.

I take my puppy here. It’s a good place but can be pretty expensive.

Animal Medical Clinic of Peachtree City is the best vet clinic in Georgia. We have been coming here for all of our family pets since 2009. They have treated all of our dogs with care. The vets are great when it comes to yearly visits, problem visits, and unfortunate visits when it comes time to put your pet to rest. The staff is very respectful and thoughtful. For each pet that has passed, they have sent us a letter in the mail with a stamped paw print and a casting of their paw print. I would not trust my beloved pets with anyone else. A special thanks to Sarah, who answered my call immediately and assisted with getting my pet in for a problem visit. Also, to Dr. Westafer who has always cared for each one of my pets. Thank you to all the staff at AMC!

We fostered a severely emaciated dog that was cared for by AMC. They still call and check up on her( foster failed). A few months later we had to put our senior dog down due to cancer. They were amazing. They let us have all our dogs in the room with her, took care of the cremation and treated her with care and respect. Now we take my service dog there for all his needs.

These people try to gauge you for money from the moment you walk in the door. Always trying to run up the bill, do not communicate costs of service at all until they hand you and outrageous bill. Seems like they all work off commissions. When you call other providers in the area, you will find that Animal Medical is one of the most expensive across the board.

FELINE CUSTOMERS BEWARETook my cat in for treating a rash. Dr. John Keenan diagnosed the issue as ear infection and prescribed a steroid, an antibiotic and an ear infection medication (simplera). They took her to the back, gave her the medications and returned her with the third eyelid visible which was not an issue at all when I handed them my cat.My cat had developed Horner's syndrome immediately upon the application of Simplera. When I pointed it out, the nurse took her again to the back, washed my cat's eyes and mentioned her eye should be ok in a day. The issue still exists 3 days after my visit.I did my research and found out that NIH's website mentions "Do not use in cats" for Simplera. Do a simple google search "simplera for cats" and you'll see the NIH article as the first search result.I wasn't made aware before the application of simplera that it shouldn't be given to cats. When I called the doctor the next day to ask about this, the nonchalant response was "I have administered it to a lot of cats and this is not an issue. Wash her eyes with saline solution".I trusted them to treat one condition. Instead because of the doctor's negligence, my cat developed another condition.A second and third opinion from other experienced vets reveal that they wouldn't use this medication on a cat and there is only one medication available in the market (Tresaderm) to treat ear infection in cats. If tresaderm is unavailable, an alternate to this would be a compounding medication with the same formula as that of tresaderm. Instead the doctor chose a dog medication that is frowned upon to use in cats. I understand my cat will be ok in a few weeks but she is going through this issue because of the doctor's negligence.I have been a client of Animal Medical Clinic for 3 years and this is the first time an incident like this has happened. I will never visit them again.Cat owners visiting Animal Medical Clinic beware. There is a doctor taking risk and prescribing medication to cats that shouldn't be given and you will not be made aware of it. I really hope hospital administration takes this seriously for other customers.

Have always taken care of our dog and cat. Reasonable rates and friendly staff. Vets outside PTC may have better prices but we trust the staff here
