Adopted my first cat 2 years ago today. Came back on my birthday to adopt my baby a roommate. There was an Asian RUDE employee that over talked and slammed the door. She was upset that her lunch break was interrupted. Not sure how people with such LOW VIBRATIONS find themselves in a pet home adoption parlor. It appears that everyone needs a pay check. 😞

I recently adopted a cat from there, when i first saw her i noticed she had discharge coming from her eye and some squinting. she was also sneezing too. they told me to take her to the vet so i did.
I thought everything was fine, until a few weeks afterwards, my other cat gets conjunctivitis in both eyes and is coughing. I take him to the vet and find out he has feline herpes. he has never had any symptoms of it before, and only until she comes into our household he gets sick.
down $400 in pet bills, talked to someone about reimbursement because i adopted one of their cats who had herpes without them knowing and now my other cat has it, and they tried to gaslight me saying that 50% of cats already have It and my cat probably already had it, even though he’s never been around any cats before her.
they offered to do a test, but what’s the point? her flareup is already gone and it’s just going to be negative……
these places need to take better care of their cats and realize when they are sick and not let people adopt him when they are sick.

I just bought my kitten last Thursday and I've did nothing but spend money since I got him. He is sick and still have worms. I've adopted 3 other cats from other place and this by far is the worst one. 10/10 don't recommend. I've called and nobody has reached back out. Don't waste your time.

An elderly cashier lady was super rude to me and my mom, and took her as a thief even yelled at her just because she wanted to see the jewelry.

The staff was amazing with the rehoming process of my kittens. Mr. J.P was very helpful as he gave me great information about the shelter! I’ve decided to rehome my kittens for personal/financial reasons although I’ve enjoyed my journey as a cat mom, I know i’ve made the best choice to bring them here, I know they will go to a great family! 🩵🙏🏽

I adopted my cat here years ago, and the paperwork said she was spayed. She still went into heat occasionally, but when we brought it up the vet said sometimes an ovary remnant can be left over after the surgery, and it's nothing to worry about.Recently she was reclusive and vomiting a lot, so we took her in. She had a severe uterus inflammation/infection (pyometra) that required immediate surgery, afterwards they said she was never spayed and everything was intact. The first surgery had some problems, and we had to go in for a second. It was quite stressful.Needless to say, if they say a female cat is spayed, I'd get a second opinion.

I adopted a pair of kitten sibling from here a week ago. My adoption request was processed carefully and in the mean time efficiently. Kylie over there is so knowledgeable and helpful. She give me so many good advice from adoption selection, home set up, even insurance options. She also gave me her personal number in case I have any questions.

Seems like their process is like applying for a credit card or a job... FB marketplace, any pet store, well any other "no kill shelter" in that fact, is easier.. I wanted to save an animal, but it's a 2 weeks+ of a process, aplications? Councilors? Jus Craziness, Furkids maybe the largest no kill shelter but I can't imagine the adoption %s are high with kind of drown out/ jumping them hoops of a process... stopped by petsmart and found out it 3rd party for furkids, after speaking with employees... they COMPLETLY agreed with me, they stated "yea, and unfortunately we don't adopt many animals at this location because of the process, we are reevaluating if we are going to stop adoptions for find another shelter"..Such a shame really..

I had the best experience here adopting my first kitten ever I had reached out to many shelters and Furkids was the only one to get back to me. More than that, I had missed their initial call and was given the option to text back. Before I even tried to, Kylie had already reached out to me first ! She was super kind and helpful when I told her what kind of kitten I was looking for and even gave me some recommendations of cats to come meet. She also informed me about single kitten syndrome because I had originally wanted a younger kitten and wasn't aware of this issue that could occur ! She let me and my family come three days in a row to meet different kittens and once I picked out the one I had bonded with, she held him for me for two days so that I could get everything ready! The day I came to pick him up, one of the volunteers Maura sat me down and explained so many things to me considering I was a new cat parent. She answered all my questions and was super patient with me. She even gave me her number so that I could text her if I had any more questions. Since then, I've been able to keep contact with both Kylie and Maura for any lingering concerns or questions I have and they're always available to answer me even though I must be annoying by now haha. This was the best experience I could have asked for and I'm so happy with my kitty. If I ever get to adopt another one I hope I can do it here with these amazing ppl ! Me and cielo are very grateful for this place for bringing us together

It's sad that they have judged my ability to adopt a 2nd cat due to an experience of incompatibility where I tried a kitten out for 1 day and I just knew strategically speaking that she was not going to work with my cat in the long-term (because she meowed for 90% of the time she was with us); my existing cat whom I adopted here 3 years ago is my perfect spirit animal, and very quiet, never hisses, she just doesn't like loud noises at all and it causes her a lot of anxiety. Her anxiety can get so bad that she doesn't eat which leads to excessive hairballs and thus vomiting. I am getting a 2nd cat mainly so she can have a friend and maybe alleviate her anxiety by socializing her more, and also I wanted to help rescue/care for another animal who is in need.I have never harmed or neglected an animal in any way, but for this company to judge my ability to adopt a 2nd cat from them and disapprove due to this very reasonable return, it's just unfortunate that an innocent animal's life had to be sacrificed due to poor human judgement. I am a great cat mom, and would be able to love another cat for the rest of their life, never abandoning it halfway down the line just because it no longer fit with my lifestyle or whatever other excuses people have. But yet I guess for Furkids, animals have to be sacrificed, because people (Furkids management) don't like other people (me).
