Stephen McCool is our go-to accompanist for school performances. He is a consummate professional, arriving early and being prepared. Mr. McCool is also an excellent sight reader and can play anything I put in front of him.

To achieve this, I’ll start with the benefits of my particular piano lessons and voice lessons. The expected benefits would be students learn how to practice (both what works and does not work), music theory (music reading skills), popular and classical repertoire, ear training (listening skills), and technique/musicianship. The unexpected benefits include rational decision-making skills, patience, mindfulness (calmly staying in the present), respect, self-discipline, and time management.
