I highly recommend Budd Van lines. They were clear on what to pack for the truck also the estimate was almost on spot, and was in constant communication. The driver and his team that was packaging my house, loading it, doing the inventory, driving the truck to my destination across state safely and then unloading it was awesome. He was in constant communication as well as Budd Van lines. I will use them again. I wouldn't trust another moving company.

I can tell you that when my wife and I first started to shop for a moving service, we were met with nothing but anxiety. Everyone had a horror story to share. Late deliveries, jacked-up prices, etc...
Obviously these folks did not consider Budd. Our crew arrived one day early than our scheduled pick-up (a good thing), and met our delivery date 1250 miles later ON-TIME.
Everything was wrapped and secured. Happy to report nothing was missing or broken. The crew was very respectful and hard working. They made our move from New Jersey to Florida a breeze. Pricing was reasonable, but that was moot when their shiny tractor showed up with our possessions when promised!

Karl, the driver was great as were the unpackers in Florida. Would have been 5 stars if the packers in GA has done a decent job.

During the initial packing process, I was informed that the movers had to go through all of my belongings so that they could “access” and “wrap” each items before they can load the truck. This was very unsettling because they literally went through all of my belongings. Most of the mover’s time was spent rummaging through ALREADY PACKED boxes and “securing” items with paper wrap. It took them two days of going through every item and box to get me loaded and on the road.Throughout the packing phase I observed the movers “scouting” certain items and boxes and placing them to the side. It was very odd and obvious that they were scheming on certain items/boxes. I reached out to the company to express my concerns and I didn’t receive much positive feedback or reassurance.Fast forward, the truck is unloaded at my new house by a different set of movers. I took the time to go through everything and I confirmed that I had multiple items that were missing and no where to be found. Expensive and new items that I had worked hard to purchase. I felt so violated because my intuition was correct.I contacted the company to report that my property had been stolen and they told me I’d receive a reimbursement for my loss. I never received my reimbursement or any form of relief from this incident.****Beware of the moving Scam****

Just dropped >$30k for two back-to-back moves from PA to AL. Honestly I wasn’t impressed and would not used them again.Pros: hard working truckersCons:1- disjointed communication between sales folks (specialized in making unrealistic promises), truckers, move managers and finance department.2- unacceptably slow billing…. 5 weeks to get an invoice (!) that did not itemize charges.3- movers at destination were hired by trackers and had no relationship with Budd van lines. Some were professional, others just there to make a living. Unacceptable for a >$15k job.4- I am not sure/positive the ‘daily’ movers at destination were legal immigrants. A huge liability on us.

My company used this moving company for the relocation. They asked for a time spread to schedule the move but couldn’t confirm the actual date until a week before the moving week. A lot of things couldn’t be arranged or were forced to reschedule/cancel. On the moving day, the movers told me that they can’t move soap and detergent. It makes sense but I think the coordinator should notify me before the movers come. It’s the same pattern for delivery. It has been very difficult to get a response from the coordinator. Overall, it’s a terrible experience and I am very tired of them using holiday as the excuse again and again.

My husbands company relocated us and we had to use Budd van lines. We unfortunately had issues from the get-go. We were never able to get ahold of our coordinator via email or phone. After almost a month, my husband finally got in contact to set a moving date. Come the moving day, all went relatively smoothly. The driver was very nice and the crew was good. On the other end though, no one ever came to unpack or remove boxes. We had multiple items crates (a treadmill, mirrors, coffee tables), and no one came to un-crate them. After MANY unsuccessful attempts to reach Budd, we ended up having to un crate everything and unpack and remove all boxes ourselves. This all should have been done as it was part of the moving package we had. Fast forward a few months, we are missing a table and thousands of dollars of belongings, and multiple items were broken during the move, but we can’t get ahold of anyone to file a claim. We will never use Budd again and if you have a choice, I’d highly suggest not using them for full service moving.

DRIVER on trailer MC1607 on newhope in Lawrenceville jus merged over on me forcing me out of the lane I was traveling in. Almost cause a head on collision with a car waiting in intersection. if you don't get that driver out of that seat before they kill someone!!

It took 40 days for out shipment to arrive broken with boxes unlabeled and contents from different rooms mixed such as toilets brushes in with a laptop and pots. They were 6 hours late on the first day and only worked 2 hours so had to allocate a third day for a 2 bedroom home. They tried to squeeze our stuff on a trailer with another client and when they realized they mismeasured they left the entire contents of our shed behind. I took pictures of the damaged items and have had nothing but pass the buck from now 8 different supervisors!!! The rest finally arrived. This move started nov 29 and ended Jan 8

We had the best experience with Budd Van Lines. The coordinator Tony was so helpful from start to finish and worked with us on a tight schedule. Bryan Moran and his team were our packers and movers and they were very professional, helpful, and careful with everything. Wonderful experience, best we’ve ever had with any moving company.

Brian and his team moved us from CT to NC 12 months ago and did a great job. Hard working, professional and courteous. These guys went above and beyond and we could not be more pleased
