Absolutely the worst business I have ever had with any business - RUDE and CURT!!! I have new Zero turn mower (the brand they sell), the belt came off and lodged between the pulley and the electric clutch, my son had to drop the clutch it get the belt out and apparently the wires to the clutch were ripped off. So we took it the Cooks, 2 weeks later they say it was fixed, got home backed it off the trailer and it does not work (the clutch does not engage), after paying them $200 - they replaced the belt ($80 retail from the manufacturer - listed on their site) and they spliced in 12 inches of wire. Took it back 3 more times, every time they said it was fixed, same issue. The last time I got it home and was backing it off the trailer the bolt that hold the clutch in place fell off on the bed of the trailer, the head of the bolt was embedded into the washer, hummm. Took it back AGAIN, when I called to check on it after 1.1/2 weeks I was told when they
tighten the bolt the motor locks down and they wanted to know if the spacer between the clutch and the motor was also on the trailer - nope not there or anywhere around. So now 2.5 weeks later and then having to order the spacer “from a 3rd party as the manufacturer did not have it in stock”. I still don’t have my mower!!! I have been very calm and polite dealing with them and had my wife call to check on it, the son was short, and rude with her as well all she asked was “when do you think our mower will be ready”. If anyone says this guy is a good not best but good mechanic should have their head examined. He is supposed to have been trained to fix the brand they sell, he should know that he needed the spacer and you don’t tighten a bolt down so much it presses the head of a bolt into the washer much less 1/2 of the head. Who knows what they will charge me for my mower sitting up there cause apparently they have not worked on it or fixed it since it’s been up there AGAIN. Don’t even slow down if you pass by the place!!! I will have to take it 35 miles away to a REPUTABLE service/repair shop to check it over and see if Cooks damaged my mower and use the other place in Lagrange from now on. I would give them a NEGATIVE 5 STARS

Not the best customer service. I was looking for a used mower but he didn’t even bother telling me info on the mowers they were selling. I guess they do pretty good business because there was no interest in selling lol.

I am not sure what everyone else was talking about in their reviews. I dropped off my lawn mower on Friday knowing they would not be able to work on it until Monday afternoon. They completed the work by Monday morning which is even earlier than they said. I am grateful to have a place to take my lawn mower that is so close by. I will definitely take my mower back there again.

1st time we every went here. We dropped off a lawnmower, at the end of March. No call from them. We finally called, almost 2 months later. Then was told mower's brand new battery was bad. Supposedly they tried to charged it several times. We had no problem charging the same battery. Mower was parked outside their fence. It was obvious they didn't want our business. We wanted to support local businesses. Sad to know this local business couldn't have been more professional.
