It’s really frustrating when receivers don’t respect a driver’s time. I arrived at the warehouse at 3 PM, well before closing at 4, only to be told their receiving hours ended at 2 PM. Even though they weren’t busy, they refused to unload and asked me to come back the next day at 8 AM. I waited at location from 3pm to 8 am. When I returned, the staff seemed to be taking their time, and then I was told receiving actually starts at 9 AM. It’s disappointing when there’s a lack of consideration for drivers who are just trying to do their job efficiently.

I am replacing Soffit and Facia materials on my home in Mid-Town Savannah. I have been to Lowes and Home Depot and found there material offerings either out of stock or misplaced so I did a Google search for Soffit and Facia materials and found Lansing Building Products. Yesterday, August 1st at 1:11pm, I called them to ensure that I, as a homeowner not a contractor, could purchase those materials from them and was told yes I could indeed do so. So, today at 2pm I drove from Mid-Town Savannah, up through the road construction on Hwy 16 to their location on Old Louisville Rd where I was promptly told NO, as a homeowner I could NOT purchase the materials from them. Needless to say, I am pissed thus a well earned one star review.

Very poor experience. Their folklift drivers don’t know how to drive. I normally deliver on Abc supply location they offload me within 30 minutes but they take 1:45 from first skid to last skid. Worst receiving staff.

I have been a landing customer for a number of years at this location now. Initially when I started using them as my window supplier I had one sales person that I ordered all my windows though who was professional and understood the business and was very knowledgeable about their products and easy to talk to. About a 2 years ago he left and since then every sales person that I have dealt with has been very difficult to talk to, NOT knowledgeable about the products, and not very polite on the phone. It’s very frustrating and I am considering using a different supplier in the future.
