Went to this store on 5/25/25 around 6pm and some lady in the parking lot yelled at me that they are closed for remodel. Every time I come to this location they are closed in the middle of the day for one reason or another. How does a company run this way? Incidentally the aisles are always stuffed with unstocked merchandise so you can't freely shop. The employees smell like marijuana and there's never an employee up front when you want to check out. I wish we had another dollar store near the Chatham/Effingham line because this one isn't it.

The current morning shift fails to open on time and pays more attention to their cell phones than customers. When Bree was here it was always open on time when she was on shift and she was always helpful to the customers.

This place deserves 0 stars!! Maybe you need to check on who you employ, your employees are disrespecting not only veterans but even people who have a handicap permit on their car. Maybe the employee should focus on what’s going on inside the store instead of a customer who was going to actually spend money and just getting to park before your employee started getting disrespectful. Get your priorities straight, this is also going viral on Facebook so best believe yall are about to get some well deserved back lash!

I frequently go to this dollar general as I dash on the side. Everytime I’ve been in there Bree has always been super helpful. But tonight she went above and beyond. I came in 20 minutes before closing with 2 different orders with 21 products to find. Bree didn’t make me feel like a burden and she even helped me find everything and bagged everything double to make my order easier to carry. Always in a friendly mood and just an awesome employee who deserves recognition. Thanks again Bree!

I had a package redirected to this location and delivered on may 15th. I have spoken with FedEx and they called your location to confirm my package was delivered. Your store told FedEx on the phone the package was there. Yet every time I go up and ask for it no one can find it. Your employees immediately disregard me and barely even look. I called and spoke with a manager on Saturday may 28 and was told I’d have a call back by 8am on Sunday may 29th. Never heard anything back. Your customer service is useless with FedEx packages and tell me to just contact FedEx. I’m 100% convinced they stole my package. No one will give me their names and one of them even lied to me about being a manager. FedEx won’t let me file a claim unless the shipper starts it and the shipper just thinks it’s delayed and has no way of being contacted. PLEASE contact me with helpful information.

They're never open. A few select hours a day and that's very random. I've been here at various times of the day and it has been closed. But in reality and off chance that they are open, you can't move around on this store for all the boxes and boxes and boxes of unloaded merchandise blocking all empty isles. DO BETTER GENERAL DOLLAR.
