My husband and I have had an account with First Citizens for many years. My husband chose this bank because he liked the small town feel and great customer service. I went to the branch today (I typically I do everything myself online). I needed to make a larger withdrawal and drove pretty far to get there. I asked the teller if she could tell me where the restroom was. She yelled over to a Matt that was in his office asking if there was a restroom I could use. Before he walked out another customer mentioned the last time she was there they let her use one and explained where it was. Matt walks out of his office and says “No, I’m sorry we don’t have a restroom you can use”. This is petty and bad customer service in my opinion. There are other First Citizens banks that allow the restrooms to be used. What is the purpose of this? Because of Covid? Nobody in there is wearing a mask.

They're a pain to work with. No electronic deposits or transfers, they're closed on Saturdays, customer support has been really unhelpful the last few months.

I recently switched my business account from a MEGA bank to First Citizens and I am SO glad to have done so. Blake and Tyler have made the transition a great one. It is very nice to know that I can call or email and get assistance with any issue that arises. They care about me as a member of the community rather than just an account holder. I am looking forward to a great banking relationship!
