This place is down the street from us and convenient. We buy gas and propane tank here when needed. Occasionally we’d get sports drinks and haven’t had any issues with it so far...

Why is it that so much food is expired and molded. I got a drink that was 2 years expired and the food I got had actual mold on it. Start doing an actual sweep of what is expired and what isn't. It's truly gross.

I am disgusted. I went in there on 5/2/18 and bought a Milky Way candy bar and upon opening it it was GREY COLORED. It expired in early 2016. I also purchased a charger and it broke within 3 days. Do NOT go here!

While the owner is curt in his conversations, and I do not mean to make excuses, I find that Asians sugar-coat things less than Americans. I am married to a Filipina. One other thing to remember, regarding fuel and cost. Independents do not have the financial backing and "margin" to play with like te corporate shops... If I Cannot sell it for what it costs me and my overhead, I cannot buy it to sell. economics 101. Regarding the food, Cannot speak to it, I have not eaten there. #EthanolFreeGas

Been living nearby for many years and we have stopped going to this convenience store. The food they sell is regularly out of date and the owner is rude, regularly talking on his phone when we go in and not even bothering to put it down to wait on you - then making mistakes in the process. We know a number of other residents in Country Walk who don't even set foot in there any longer for a long variety of reasons. If you need gas, good luck too - as others have indicated in their reviews, he seems to sell it when he feels like it as the pumps get turned off for sometimes weeks at a time, then back on again, then off, etc. It's easier to just drive up the road to a couple of other places. It's a shame to see someone take such little pride in their business, and have no appreciation of customers.

I'll go to JJ's if I absolutely HAVE to in an emergency, but in all honesty, the Korean-born owner sometimes has a pretty poor attitude toward his customers. He will regularly run out of gasoline, and when asked, his comment will be something like, "I don't make a profit on it, so won't buy more until the price goes down" (I thought the purpose of a convenience store was to make things convenient for customers while they're there buying OTHER things as well as gas, not just carrying things that have a hefty profit margine). Another issue are expired goods in his store. I have found food and beverage items that were not only a little expired - but in a couple of cases, MONTHS expired. He relies completely on the food vendors to check their stock when they come in, and doesn't check the stock himself (it's not a large store). I stopped buying food items there long ago - I strongly suggest checking the expiration date on anything you buy there. For quick transactions, the owner can be friendly (enough), but there's a deeper poor customer service attitude there that after at time, frankly just leaves a bad taste in your mouth (aside from what the expired food gives you as well). Considering the location at the foot of a very large subdivision and population of the surrounding area, he gets a fairly low amount of business overall - and the reasons are obvious. I've known a good number of people who have stopped going there even though they practically live next door to the place, and it proves that regardless of any conveniences a store brings close to you, a poor customer service attitude will not force those customers to keep coming back.
