I'm beyond upset! My son needed a very important prescription to be filled after being discharged from the hospital Saturday afternoon. His doctor stressed how important it was that he started taking it that night. I called the pharmacy ahead of time to confirm their hours (eventhough they're posted on the front is the entrance way of the store). and was told by an associate it was 6p. My husband arrived around 3p on 2/5 with the prescription to drop off, with plans to pick it up that day. He was then told by an associate that they were closing in about 5 mins, so it wouldn't be ready until the next day (Sunday). After telling the associate that he was told they close @6p and the med were important and needed by my son, the associate told him to hold on. I called myself and talked to the pharmacist Amy who said she'd stay open long to fill it, and allow my husband time to come get me to retrieve his card for payment. Then they proceeded to say the npi number wasn't matching with the doctor who wrote the prescription (it was a printed one). I told her there had to be a mistake. I had a feeling they didn't want to go through the proper steps to confirm everything and were just ready to leave on a Saturday. I even called the hospital and the nurse was baffled as to how that would prevent them from filling my son's medication. I ended up driving back to Walgreens and taking the prescription over to Publix across the street. They had no problems filling it! I plan on calling corporate because someone didn't want to do the job that they're paid to do. I apologize if there are grammatical errors in this post. I'm not a happy customer at all!

Worst Walgreens ever! I recently switched to this location because of the closure of another Walgreens location. Every time I've been in this location has been a terrible experience. I even witnessed a Senior gentleman giving the pharmacy staff a piece of his mind because of their incompetent customer service and attitudes. And talk about SLOW! Pack a lunch if you picking up a prescription. You're in for a wait as the staff moves slower than a snails pace with no regard to your time and patronage. I will not be back and plan to move my business elsewhere. It's really that bad and I'd rather drive out of my way instead of ever visiting this store ever again. I could go on and on.... not just the pharmacy...the general staff up front is just as bad. I should have expected the experience based on overflowing garbage cans out front, a parking lot full of carts, and so on. Bye bye Walgreens.

I know we are all sheltering in place. I so appreciate all the people that are working helping everyone but when I go in to Walgreens and I see an older man ask the check out clerk about Hand sanitizer and she snaps..yelling at him about we are in a pandemic and they won't be getting anymore hand sanitizer.. I almost lost it but I didn't! IF TOU DONT WANT TO BE THERE THEN GO HOME!! You don't have to be rude!!

Did Yelp delete my review because I would have bet money I wrote a review about this place before. Oh well. So I really went back and forth deciding whether I wanted to give this place 5 or 4 stars, and I just couldn't do the 5 even though I have been here a million times, and even though the pharmacy has always been friendly and worked to resolve any issues with my medication and that of my families, and even when the guy who is the reason I am giving this place a 4 helped me on my quest to find a product and even told me about another pharmacy place down the road that would more than likely have it they were out I just could not do it, because this guy really upset me one day when I needed some quarters and he not only told me no, but when I pressed him for them explaining that I needed quarters, he had the nerve to tell me he was limiting how many he was giving me. It was just rude, and I truly did not appreciate it. I know no place is perfect, and I know that this is just one guy, and one instance, but for it to have happened over a year and a half ago it still gets under my skin. For some people it is the larger things that bother them, but for me it is the small, and something as simple as a customer asking for some quarters to me is small.

Unless you have the kindness of the Tom Thumb staff at central and Meadows in Dallas, avoid!! They are nasty and intrusive and expensive. Venmo, paypal, bank apps I hope will make them a thing of the past.
