Had the Sunday brunch special. The catfish portion was very generous, the three vegetable sides were excellent. Meat, three sides, choice of bread, dessert and drink - 12.00! Wow! Nice dining room, friendly staff. What's not to love?

The Friday night seafood dinner is awesome (4-8pm) and everything I have eaten on their menu is great. A rare find in North Georgia in a great flea market in Rabun Gap Georgia

Phoned in a $55 order yesterday and asked that each order be marked. Otherwise it’s too difficult to go through it all and distribute correctly. I also asked for a total for each order: $12 total, no other charges or taxes was the reply. ( There were two svc charges. It was their fault the the order was in two groups.?) Order was placed an hour ahead, but when we picked it up in a big downpour, we couldn’t find an exit sign, and the order was wrong....1/2 was missing and marked wrong....we were asked for a tip. In hindsight I wouldn’t have left $5 although it wasn’t the servers fault and the rain was very heavy. Kitchen didn’t mark it correctly. We had to go out and back in again with what was once the exit closed off.By the time we plowed through the incorrectly marked containers, it wasn’t hot anymore and We vowed not to do it again. I think the food would’ve been good if it had been hot, but all the confusion and hassle sort of ruined it. We expected a $48 bill for 4 orders. With svc charge and tip: $54.92

We were told this is where the locals go for a good Southern fried catfish buffet, only on Fridays 4pm to 8pm, and the line starts at 3:30. It's a restaurant in the very front of Rabun's Gap Flea Mkt, but the Flea Market isn't open on Friday. We were there at 3:30, and sure enough, there was a huge line by the time the doors opened at 4. We enjoyed the conversation with the people around us, as the locals were quite friendly and chatty. The AYCE was $12 per person, and you go through a cafeteria line with a tray, and come back as many times as you like. The sides were the classic Southern choices of collards, baked beans, coleslaw, cornbread, fried okra, mac and cheese, creamed corn, cob corn, rolls, and mashed and ovened potatoes. There was catfish fillets, whole catfish, fried shrimp, and fried chicken. Although the whole catfish were more work, they were so much sweeter and moist than the fillets. There were 2 rooms to sit in, and a pitcher of iced tea on each table. I hate to say this, since I myself am a senior, (a very young senior), but looking around, I felt like I was sitting in the dining hall of a senior care facility. I really enjoyed the buffet, and the help was extra friendly and efficient, but just mentioning that in case it's a deal breaker for you.
