This has really pissed me off on this situation my roommate has to use a little pull along cart to be able to get groceries and take stuff to tge post office that's next door to the dollar general he goes in today like he's been doing for the past years to pick up some things we'll don't know who she was a manager or what ever a girl name Latoya told him he can't bring it inside he's been bringing it it for awhile no problems till today he has a plastic bag liner on the bottom so stuff won't fall out she asked him what it was he took it out well he was trying to purchase stuff even then the cashier said he couldn't bring the cart back in he asked why that's when Latoya said in front of customers that he might steal something with it he uses that cart cause we can't afford a car I'm disabled he has to pick up stuff for me we live about a mile or so from that location I think was a really horrible situation you don't do that to a customer and say stuff like that accusing someone they might be stealing I need a district manager to get into contact with me about this matter train your employees better

Came in the store to get a couple of items and the cashier Darius was a young man but he gave great customer service he greeted each customer and some weren't even acknowledging him but he still gave great customers and gave great customer service

Ugh, it's so frustrating that this Dollar General is the closest one to my place! I swung by about 20 minutes before their listed closing time needing just one personal hygiene item, but the employee working wouldn't even let me in. They claimed Corporate gave them the okay to close early, which sounded fishy, so I called Corporate myself and guess what? They said that wasn't the case at all!

Omg! How is this store able to be open to the public? It smells like sour mold as soon as you walk in. We almost threw up. The shopping carts and baskets were extremely filthy. The line was piling up and there was only one cashier. Just ugh! Needs MAJOR cleaning and upgrades or it needs to shut down. This is ridiculous

If I could give a half star I would.this store on hwy 42 must be the worst one I ever been to.first of all they never have no workers on the register.then the one that is on the register has poor customer service.every time I go into this lication it is always a problem when I upliad my coupons and try to use themWell today she took it to another level by telling my mom she need to learn how to read.It very unprofessional when you got customers and when I ask you a price and you go to check it and you wrong you walk back up to the register with the attitude.All I can say is if you dont like working with the public then you should not have this type of job.I woyld not advise anyone to visit this location and spend your money

Went to dollar general at 9:35pm and they were closed and rude as hell cause I knocked on the door, reasoning for closing 25 mins early was to train a “new manager”. I’ve been a manager for 7 years never closed the store to train anybody. By the time I got to the next dollar general it was 10pm! What really bothered me was the person said “we don’t sell the costumes” when in fact they have the $5 unicorn costumes in the kids section. Overall the new people here are rude as hell and just go to east Atlanta road dollar general.

Make sure all your stuff is in the bag. Paid for something was asked if I wanted in the bag or with me. I said put everything in the bag get home I'm missing my item. Like wow I bought two things.will never return! Yall suck!!!!!

FALSE PRICING: hard working people, please start being aware of the advertising sticker price of the product(s) you're buying.The product(s) rings up HIGHER at the register than the advertised sticker price.It's already bad enough that the customer service is lacking, but being deceitful with the advertising pricing is all around wrong and stealing from the customers.Might I say this wasn't a flute, this has happened about three (3) other times before, one (1) particular time were so bad, after I got home and realized the few items I had purchased shouldn't have cost the amount I was charged.I went back to the store the following morning and spoke with the manager whom refunded me the six dollars($6) difference.Just recently (07/15/2023) I had three (3) different items and all three (3) were higher than the advertising sticker price, the rude male worker with the heavy case of dandruff whom seem to always have an attitude would ONLY do one (1) item price change, so I lefted all items with him and went elsewhere.Their excuses is, "we haven't got around to changing the prices" or "we did inventory".PEOPLE... PLEASE START BEING AWARE OF THE PRICES, and stop giving away your hard earned money.

This place is not great.. they always have empty shelves.. they normally only have 2 people working and you have to track down someone to check you out. I had to correct a guy bc he rang up my items wrong. When i corrected him he got an attitude.. i told him it wasn't that serious bc i was tired of standing there bc I had waited 10 min already for him to come ring me up. He got even more of an attitude and was mumbling under his breath about "not liking people that do him that way".. so he re-rang up my items and got the correct total and then asked the other lady if I had been waiting 10 minutes for him and she told him yes, bc she was counting down the other register and had called him several times. I just paid and left at that point and he didn't say anything else.

This location is dark and gloomy. The shelves are bare. Customer service is nonexistent.
