I had an excellent experience at Rincon Transmission. From the moment I arrived, the lady who helped me was very honest and professional. I came in because my car was acting up, and she immediately told me that she didn’t believe a transmission fluid change would fix the problem, but that they would evaluate my car first.
They scanned and inspected my vehicle, and in the end, they told me that nothing showed up on the scanner and recommended that I go to the dealer for further diagnosis. They didn’t charge me anything for the inspection!
It’s hard to find such honest and trustworthy people nowadays. They were friendly, professional, and truly put the customer first instead of trying to sell me something I didn’t need. I 100% recommend Rincon Transmission to anyone looking for an honest place to take their car. You can trust them with your vehicle!

Absolutely incredible experience with everyone at the Rincon location. It is never exciting to have a transmission replaced but these folks made the process as painless as possible and looked out for my best interest. I would recommend to anyone and will spread the word of the amazing service they provide.

I can’t thank David and the staff at Rincon Transmission enough for the good job they did repairing our 2002 Dodge Dakota! Although it had to be completely rebuilt (which I suspected) and took a little longer, due to parts it was done on budget and even they took the extra time and repaired the exhaust at no charge!! Thanks again, if we ever have issues again I know where I’m going!!

Brought my jeep in for a whirring noise I thought was coming from the transmission. Rincon transmission told me it wasn’t the transmission the rear was making that noise. 150 miles down the road on a road trip and the transmission completely let go… so now I’ve paid them $150 to not diagnose my vehicle plus $720 in towing and still have transmission problems FML

I absolutely do not recommend. Being in the automotive industry for over 13 years and having heard of this business, I had faith Rincon transmission would be capable of diagnosing a 2019 f150 with a transmission issue. I was told they could get it in quick and after a week later they said they cleared the codes and it was magically fixed. I said that couldn’t have possibly been it and requested they please try again. They test drove it and stated the transmission is overheating. Now, as frustrating as the time frame and initial answer was, it wasn’t nearly as frustrating as them charging me double to “redrive it”. Which should have been done initially. No part of the service we were given justifies a $330 charge after I was quoted $120 (and it was still not worth that due to the misdiagnosis). If you were thinking about using Rincon Transmission, think again. If you want an honest and trust worthy shop, this is not the place.

Rincon Transmission is absolutely the best in the business. I have had 3 box truck transmissions replaced at their shop over the last 10 years. They are reputable and excellent to do business with.

My daughter, who lives out of state, brought her car there to be fixed. They were very reasonably with their price and even offered a military discount. Unfortunately, Her car broke down 1 week after she got back home. She then had to send it to another mechanic in Fl. Who said the parts were bad. I told Rincon Transmission what happened, he asked for the parts and was nice enough to reimburse my daughter 1/2 her expense + Extra from the parts company. The owner is a real stand up guy that did the right thing. There was no way any mechanic would know a part was bad placing it in a vehicle. If you want an honest business taking care of your vehicle, I recommend Rincon who has been in business many years! All the people who work there are super nice as well.
