He checked with me twice to see if I needed help and when I was looking for another store to go to, he told me he could order a shoe for me and ship to my house. “I had a wonderful shopping experience at the Champs store in South DeKalb Mall! From start to finish, the customer service was top-notch.
Kam was extremely friendly and down to earth. He laughed with us and helped me convince my mom to pick out a specific shoe. He checked on us throughout our visit to make sure we were okay, which made the experience feel really genuine. My mom, who is older, likes to try on both shoes and walk in them before deciding, and even though the store typically allows only one shoe at a time, Quan kindly made an exception for her. That small act of understanding really made her comfortable.
Quan also checked us out at the register and went above and beyond. He let me add a last-minute purchase while he was ringing us up and even went to the back to grab it himself. On top of that, he took the time to check my FLX Rewards (something no one has ever done for me before), and I was able to use my rewards toward our purchase.
Because of Kam and Quan’s excellent service, my mom, my daughter, and I had such a pleasant shopping trip. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Decatur—where it’s greater! ?”

“Walking back into South DeKalb Mall after nearly two decades felt like a full-circle moment for me, growing up in Decatur. What started as a quick stop at Lids Store #5582 turned into one of the best retail experiences I’ve had in a long time.
Zeniah and Bucky truly set the standard for customer service. When I came in looking for a specific blank hat I had seen at another location, they were in the middle of receiving a shipment, but that didn’t stop them. They went above and beyond, digging through boxes to find exactly what I described. That level of effort alone was impressive, but what stood out even more was their genuine hospitality.
They made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in, didn’t rush me at all, and even let me talk their ears off without missing a beat 😆. It felt less like a transaction and more like connecting with good people who actually enjoy what they do.

“The manager there is amazing. Although it was hectic she was able to assist everybody while doing embroidery and working alone.
There were people there who were rude due to the wait and her moving around helping others, taking their frustration out on her when she was doing her job. I’ve came in multiple times and she’s helped me every time, very helpful and does great embroidery. Cut her some slack, you people are just rude for no reason, learn manners.”
