Visited the Rockmart location today, the 2 young men working were friendly and helpful. I told them what I was looking for and they showed me the options available. “104.99 + taxes & fees out the door” sign said. Made my choice & proceeded with purchase & activation. Tried to pay with my debit card & the csr advised me I don’t have enough money on my card. Wait what? It’s a debit card you can’t see what’s available in my account. Ok continued to pay with an alternate debit card & transaction completed. Then he could not get phone activated, it was telling him the line was suspended. Why? Because I didn’t purchase a phone plan. He made a call & was told that information. But sign said??? and he replied that’s what they told me, I then advised him to keep the phone & issue a refund. Then he tells me there’s a $20 restock fee 🤯 I’ve not even touched the phone?!? Fine I’ll keep the phone & speak to customer service. Attempted twice to speak to cs at AT&T. Getting them on the phone is like pulling teeth. I gave up for the time being & paid the additional $40 & got the phone. Minutes later I discover the 1st debit card that he said didn’t have enough money on it was in fact charged 2 separate charges. Phone & activation as well as the additional charge for the phone plan. There were also the same charges on the 2nd debit card I used. I have been refunded for the duplicate charge, now to make contact with the store manager who was not there today regarding the price difference between the advertised amount and what I was charged. Needless to say I will not be back to the AT&T store ever.

This has been the worst experience ever! The store associate Aiden was amazing in trying to help me with the issue of what seems like a defective phone. I do not feel that management was helpful at all in helping him help me to resolve this issue. I went in to get a new phone. After the new phone freezing up several times during setup, they had to put my number back on my old phone. I was told on the phone by the manager that there wasn’t anyone to do an override so for me to return to the store today and he’d get things straightened out. I returned the next morning at 9a.m. and the manager I spoke with the night before was not there. I was told he would not be coming in today.😒 The worker assisting me this morning agin was Aiden. He called someone for guidance but to no avail the issue wasn’t resolved. I was told to come back tomorrow when the manager was in. I said No, I was told that last night 7:45 p.m. and here we are the next day and the manager is not here! No, I am not coming back a third day. This has been an inconvenience for me ONLY! Just refund the phone and accessories and put everything as it was when I came in initially. They said that they couldn’t just change the new phone for another new phone because of some restock fee that needed to be overridden by manager so the phone could be changed since it must have been defective. Only manager could only do the overriding, and he had to be there in person. Per our conversation the night before, he would be there in person this morning.😒🤷🏽♀️ Aiden was so apologetic! I felt sorry for him! He probably should not have been working alone just yet as he had only been working there a month he said. There was a lot he didn’t fully know. Lastly, I was told that I could go to the corporate office to get the issue resolved and that the closest one was in Rome Ga. I’m am not pleased!!😡 Update: I went to the corporate location in Hiram Ga and ALL my issues were resolved in minutes! Unlike the three day nightmare I had experienced at this location. 😒
