Belk in Rome Georgia needs to go ahead and close its doors. Through the years Belk has been my family’s go to store. After a recent experience of the lack of associates and the rudeness of the 2 that I encountered I will shop online from now on or visit an out of town Belk. Kathy in the shoes is always so nice and helpful. Others could take a lesson from her and not just sit and play on their phone. Kindness goes a long way.

I found everything I needed. And all of it was 50 to 70 percent off.And a lot to choose from, purchased summer clothes for my sister and nephew who live in Jamaica.

I recommend shopping online. This was my "go to" store, but now it is not a good experience. There are never enough cashiers available, and the few workers they have aren't very efficient. There are a few associates who are awesome, but they are rarely available. Save yourself the hassle and order online or use the pick-up options.

This place must be getting ready to close. The floors are absolutely disgusting and have not been vacuumed. My family went in tonight to buy a gift for a friend and could not find anyone to help. The, what appeared to be a security man, finally asked if we needed help. He said only three people were working in the store. I feel sorry for the employees but we finally walked out.

This location has went down hill bad. The floors are so covered in trash and dirty it appears they haven’t cleaned since the early 2000s. The only way to find an employee for assistance is to go to the makeup area. I believe this store isn’t far away from closing just like all the other stores in the mall

Wish I could put zero stars . Very upset with my encounter today. There was a very rude woman at the Estée Lauder counter in Rome ga mall. I went a week ago to get color matched and buy some double wear foundation. The woman gave me a 10 day sample and told me I should go ahead and buy the full size foundation so I could get the free gift they were offering and to use the 10 day sample to see if I liked the color before opening the full size and that way I could exchange it if I didn’t like the color. Well the color ended up being too dark so I came back the next week to exchange it when I came up to the counter to let a different woman know that the color didn’t match and I was bringing this one back she didn’t even ask would you like to try a different color she got very rude and with an attitude and said Uhm we require the free gift back. I said that’s not what the other woman told me she told me to go ahead and buy it so I could get the free gift and I could come exchange if it ended up not being the right color. She said Uhm I will have a talk with her but next time we require the gift back so she refunded me the money but didn’t even offer to help me find a different color to exchange it she just assumed that I bought it just to get the free gift and then to come get a refund on the foundation???? Then she handed me the receipt back and rolled her eyes and said have a good day. I always go to belk to buy my double wear but sadly I will never go back.

I went to get new sandals but was once again so disappointed in the shoe dept...so messy and disorganized. Belk was always my "go to" for shopping but in last 2-3 years I've been disappointed..better on line than in store for shopping.

management was very rude would not recommend ever coming back to this store at Mount Berry square mall!! if you have young children that are in strollers, I would not recommend most definitely to come in the store because they will make you feel as though you are stealing , if you bend down to care for one of your children that is being totally out of control and screaming so don’t bring your kids in the strollers in the bell at Mount Berry Square, Mall in Rome Georgia.

Not what it used to be. Clothing is not organized well and staff is unwilling to help in finding items. After finally finding what I was looking for, we walked around the entire store trying to find an open register. Finally put items down and left. I've seen dollar generals more organized and have attentive employees. We might as well go to Walmart.

Ok, so we decided to venture out to Berry Mall in Rome, Georgia. Considering the mall was like a ghost town and Belk's was about empty, the sparse sales staff were helpful and very friendly. We went there to specifically find an item and luckily found what we came there for. It's Belk's, so you know price is going to be high. We'd go back just for the sales staff who waited on us.

Nice variety of Parfums and colognes. Big and tall section is ok. Found some sNice stuff for my husband.. just left from here and the sales lady was amazing. I will return

There were a lot of people at the year end sales. Need more sales people, long lines at check out and the clothes departments were a mess.

Belk has always been a go to store for me and my family throughout the years ,but I felt sorry for the workers the day I went just before Christmas Eve. They had two workers trying to help customers and doing check-outs in the makeup section holding it down. I will continue to shop their for the foreseeable future.
