Coosa Valley Credit Union is a band of incompetent idiots. My dad started an account there for me when I was a teenager. In adulthood, I have maintained control of the account. He went to close some other accounts he no longer needed that were tied to my siblings names that they don't use. I actively use my Coosa Valley account. He told them not to touch my account yet they transferred everything to my savings account and completely closed my checking account. Now I have to take time out of my day and go in person to correct a mistake that those morons should not have made when they were given explicit instructions not to touch my account. Worst bank ever.

Terrible service - It's been over a month and no one has contacted me about my loan. How am I supposed to pay y'all if you don't send me something electronically and refuse to send it to my address. Any option would have been more convenient than using Coosa Valley.

Customer service at the Dean Ave. branch , for loans and new accounts is so unprofessional 3 ladies working and 1 customer. It took me 20 minutes to see One.

Great experience. I was able to close an account, setup new account, deposit and transfer money with only one representative. Also she set up my mobile app and waited until I sent money through Zelle. Answered all my questions and did not make me feel like I was taking up her time. Angie Pritchett was the best

I have had Coosa valley since I was 16 years old. I am 25 now and these past couple of years have been horrible. Every person I speak with is rude and disrespectful in some kind of way. I am a co-signer on my sisters car loan. She wasn’t paying the loan for months and Coosa valley never took the time out of their day to let me know that. They just decided to snatch the money she wasn’t paying out of MY bank account, which caused me to get behind on my own personal bills. I have decided to take over the car loan, and it seems like they are now directing their frustration that they had with my sister, towards me. Also, I am an online student and the school I attend is in Arizona, they always send my refund check through the mail and every time I try to cash it at Coosa valley they either refuse the check or tell me it has to have a 10 day hold on it but the corner store will cash it just by calling my school and verifying the information. I am closing out my account today with Coosa Valley and I will never recommend that bank to anyone. I believe the lady that works with loans is named Kelsey.. her attitude is absolutely terrible. And I believe another one’s name is Kayla. Very very disrespectful for absolutely no reason. I even tried to cash my check so that I could pay the full past due balance that my sister left plus the current months payment and they refused the check and the reason was “because you are so far behind on your loan” please tell me how that makes sense ??? If you cash the check, I can make a payment .. right ??? The First Lady told me it would be a 5 day hold then she went and grabbed her manager who came to tell me it will be a 10 day hold .. oh BUT they want me to make the $1300 payment TODAY! But won’t cash the check for me to do so. It makes no sense at all. I can’t wait to get far away from Coosa Valley Credit Union.

Lacks customer service. They only have Monday through Friday hours. No weekend services and no emergency service to get issues resolved. I remote deposited a check Friday shortly after 5:00 p.m. it is now Tuesday I still have no access to my funds and have had bills due that I needed to access my work check. It's a paycheck! From a reputable local business! But it was after 5:00 when I deposited on Friday they have no Saturday hours! And then Monday is a holiday so even though I even tried to put a question in through the contact Services I got no response and cannot access my funds. For a bank handling people's money that needs to be accessed I would think that there was at least a number that could be called at least until sometime at night to access situations and a weekend number for at least some number of hours but literally nothing. This is hard for me to do business this way so I will be having to look for another bank because I simply cannot have my money in limbo when I've got bills to pay. My creditors don't want to to hear that I have plenty of money tied up in my bank I just can't access it!

Customer service is awful, and they look for any way possible to charge you a fee. This company shows no mercy, they will charge you a fee until they take every penny. They will move money out of your savings account without permission then charge you a fee for what they’ve done. I don’t see how this bank has so many good reviews, theyve been awful to us. I will never recommend this bank to anyone, and I will be switching banks. They’re terrible money hungry rude people.

Been with this bank for almost 10 years and have has several accounts with them. I just have to point out how customer service has declined in the past couple years. I’ve completely stopped going to the Dean street location because they are so rude and seem miserable to be there. The last hope I had withered away when I went to the main branch and not any additional assistance was even thought about being offered no let me see what we can do. Also, I can never ever get any manager on the phone or to call me back. When I’ve worked with one person and they have their way or process & then you go to someone else and they say no we don’t do it that way and they get frustrated. It’s just unpleasant. I feel like they had a change in management or policies were changed because it’s so different from the last couple years in a big way. So after today it’s a wrap. Very unpleasant experiences lately and lack of help. I’m def moving completely over to my other banks moving forward.

The loan officer was the best! It was fast and easy to finish my car loan. Really making me think about adding a checking account. You can’t go wrong.

We switched to Coosa Valley over 5 years ago from a mainstream bank we had been at for 20+ years. We are so glad we did. The teams are so polite, capable, attentive and efficient. These are all the important things we wanted in a banking partner and we found it with Coosa Valley!

When I got my car loan here the other day Paige was very sweet and she had all my paper work ready all I had to do was sign. Everyone is so friendly. Thank you ladies at CVCU.
