Whoever is working the counter this Christmas Eve is in a terrible mood. I saw two other customers in the store while there - surprising for 5 PM on Christmas Eve. Anyway, I was refused a trade-in on a "sealed" Switch game I had bought my fiance for Christmas and later realized she already owned. I eventually had to recite my full name just to buy another game that I was hoping to trade the first one in for. She called me "dude" and made me feel pretty bad just for asking. Told me I was on camera. I walked in the store with this other game in my hand, along with the receipt, so I don't understand why I was treated suspiciously. I've never had a pleasant experience at this Gamestop at all. I'd avoid it entirely if I were you. Place is whack.

You would think with a store like GameStop would need to be open on time instead of an hour late the franchise doesn’t seem to be doing good and careless employees but not opening up over a hour late is pretty bad this has happened multiple times if I could give negative starts I would give it a fantastic -5 update they didn’t open until 3 that day from what I was told and then was closed again when I got they again

Ridiculous customer service have been calling the store more than 5 times no answer don’t waste your time trying to reach someone there, will never recommend this place if i can give 0 star i will but i don’t have the option.

After my first bad experience at this store, I decided not to leave a negative review. I mean, bad days happen, right? However, after consistently bad experiences, I feel the need to say something publicly.I have been in this store twice for different issues, and the store manager was unhelpful, rude, and abrasive. I came in for an order that I had placed online (with my order confirmation), and management never looked at my confirmation. The purchase didn't show up in their system, and without asking for my confirmation number, it was insinuated that I was lying about my purchase. I was told to call customer service and that store employees would not help me.I came in last week to return an xBox I'd purchased online. Before even looking at the product the manager said they would not take it back. I told him that I had initiated the return online, and I had until 12/6 to return it. The manager refused to take the product or help me. He was incredibly rude, to the point that I left the store in tears. I had to drive to Cartersville to complete my return and had a great experience.

Was in the store for 20 minutes waiting In line while the cashier was small talking and joking with another customer. Didn't even get to buy anything because I was tired of waiting.

Store says open at 12pm on Sunday. Apparently not. The staff just looks at you with no explanation. Not a good look around the holidays.

The customer service made me feel sooo odd. I don’t know why they was treating me so strangely. Sounds like the same guy as the last review and a young lady. I will buy all my games from Walmart before I’d go back.

The service here is pitiful. I did not get the guy’s name, but he’s a white, bald-headed guy, probably 5’ 8”. I purchased a Nintendo Switch wireless controller. As I was checking out, the guy would not quit pestering me about their rewards program and their warranty, even after I told him I was not interested. During the purchase he told me that I had 15 days to return the item. A week later I returned to the store to attempt to get a refund. The guy says “we don’t take refunds on new items”. Not only was I out 60 dollars, I was stuck with something I didn’t like. Sure I could’ve done more research, but I feel that it is the employee’s responsibility to explain the rules to the customer. Please take your business elsewhere, this place is nothing but scummy.

Went in to try to use a wireless headset asked about returns and even said I wasn’t sure if I’d like this one since I’ve never tried a wireless headset and said I might be back later to return it and stick to buying a newer model of my current one. They said I could return it before 7 days and after I tried to return it they said since I had opened it and tried it on I couldn’t return it like you’d think after what I said they’d mention that after asking about the returns. Thankfully another location understood and did the return but rome ga game stop is a waste of time and full of attitude.

We purchased a few things here a couple of weeks ago. The staff was very helpful.It seems to be very clean and pleasurable to shop in.The selection of pre-owned was not to our liking but with pre-owned items the selection comes and goes.Good selection of new items.

Absolutely horrible service! Literally made picking up an online order miserable. Told me the order would not be ready until the next day (even though the product was literally sitting behind the desk). Then made us jump through hoops to finish the transactions. When asked for their district manager’s contact info, was told they aren’t allowed to provide that info (but it’s ok, we got it from another location).
