Concerning the grocery side of this business, I will just tell you to be weary of the fact that the ads showing different items in stock may only be available in certain Kroger, grocery stores not all of them in Georgia. For years I have gone. This store is looking for something in stock maybe even with a coupon a digital coupon but when I get to the store is not there it's not there that week or the next, some items haven't been there in years especially in the frozen foods so just know that the ad will show things not available in every store. The pharmacy is slow and backlogged. They have a lot of customers to serve and they are low on stock a lot of times they have to order items that I don't know I think maybe should stay in stock and especially if they have a lot of customers they know they need extra stock but that in mind just know that it is a good pharmacy I safe pharmacy I believe but you will have to wait for your medicine sometimes and you will have to wait in line. And most of these people are good people and wait on you, but some of these people are just mean select all they wait on, especially if they know them I've seen that happen.

. I'm from out of town but used to live in Rome and Kroger was always my place of choice to shop. Although back then they were in a different location. So I stopped by Kroger early morning to pick up some flowers for a very special birthday. They have a great floral selection with balloons, vases, gifts and plants. In spite of that I just wasn't find it what I needed so I asked for some assistance. Brittany was the clerk who helped me and she was absolutely amazing. We picked out several bunches of flowers to make the perfect bouquet and she arranged them and expertly wrapped them with a pretty bow that she let me pick out. She added a cute hummingbird that she put on a stick with a bow and I had the most amazing bouquet. Thanks Kroger!

This is one of the cleanest Kroger grocery stores I have been to. The pharmacy staff is wonderful. Getting my Covid vaccine wasn't as overwhelming as I thought.

Wow, at 9pm we went to buy a few groceries. There were approximately 25 people trying to check out with only one lane open. We finally gave up and went to the self check out with a buggy full to keep our frozen items from melting. I understand it was late but all too obvious were the numerous young Kroger employees that were standing around chatting, laughing, entertaining visiting boyfriends that could have been running registers. They were way too busy socializing to help the multiple people who were trying to use the self check out due to the line in the line open lane. The day before at Publix while shopping for my mom customer service was at its best. Kroger I know you are closer but this was a terrible experience.

Do not get gas here. I spent $10 in gas and it took out all the money in my account and they said it happens all the time and then will be back 24 to 48 hours this is ridiculous they don't even deserve one star.

This store needs to provide parking lot security! There was a case yesterday morning at 11:30 where a lady was approached by a young male. He followed her to her car and when she got there only the cart was between the two. She produced a gun. He was very smug about it and did not leave until she told him she knew how to use it! Police were called after-the-fact, but that was a waste. And YES she did have a permit for the weapon! I am told there have been told this is not the first instance this has happened in their lot. Kroger has several attendants in their lot gathering shopping carts. They should at least train these employees to be looking out for their customer's welfare.

Best grocer in town. Great manager, huge selection. Great deli and freshly made food.

You know I really want to love Kroger but the way some of the stock employees act is questionable, and god forbid you have to use the restroom, it's always been filthy. I do love the wine, and The sushi sections, and the cashiers are always very nice. Those bathrooms and stockboys though

Wow, how has this place not been shutdown by the health department? For serious, this store is always riddled with rotten food and the stench of fowl meat permeates from the meat and seafood department.

I have slowly watched this very nice Kroger store go downhill fast. The only time the customer service has been good and the store properly staffed was when Publix was building a new store in Rome. If you buy any sales items you must keep track of the item and watch your receipt. There have been numerous times where I have been overcharged twenty dollars or more, and then I have to stand in a long customer service line to get a refund when I do catch it in the store. It is a shame that the store management can't properly perform an ad change when it normally happens the same day every week. I have also noticed many expired items when I shopped there, so I had to check the dates on nearly everything I purchased. This use to be my go to store, but I now refuse to go back. It seems to be understaffed and undermanaged. Don't bother complaining it will fall on deaf ears.

I love to buy food for Kroger better than Walmart that has a good deal. I only come to Kroger for cakes. I love their vanilla pudding glazed pound cake and Louisiana crunch pound cake - there have slices of variety pounds cakes it cost $1.50.

I love this Kroger! I live across town from it, but I still make the drive over here every time I can to get groceries. The staff are always friendly and attentive, and the store is kept very clean. I love the samples set out of the gourmet cheeses, and they have delicious bakery breads. The prices are slightly higher than some other stores, but between store coupons, fuel points, and just how generally pleasant shopping there is, it's well worth it.

2stars total. 4 stars for produce -1 star for staff. Came in today for the first time since Publix opened to find no carts in lobby. Mentioned it to customer service, no "thank you we'll get right on it" just an "OK". Got some ham from the deli. The guy didn't check with me to see if he sliced it right just put it in a bag and ask if I needed anything else.

For the longest time, it felt kinda cheesy to check in at Kroger. But what the hey, I noticed this K-Roger getting some bad press, and I felt like someone needed to speak up for it. These changes are all recent, as Kroger underwent some fairly major remodeling about a year ago. For a few months in the interim, this place was a hot mess. BUT Y'ALL, DADGUM. It was worth it! Kroger now has a VERY impressive collection of sections dedicated to organic produce, artisanal cheeses, sushi (yes, it's that crappy grocery store sushi, but whatever) and other goodies. They also have several lanes dedicated to natural/organic/non-GMO food. IN ROME, GEORGIA. I used to have to trek all the way to Trader Joe's, a 100-mile round trip adventure, in order to get organic food without taking out a loan to handle it. Kroger has brought healthy groceries to a place that sorely needed them, and I for one am seriously on board with that. There's also a Starbucks inside this Kroger. Personally, I think this is sort of dumb. It seems to do good business, but honestly... Starbucks? Inside a grocery store? WHY? If I'm gonna blow 300 calories on a coffee drink, I seriously want to stop, collaborate, and listen to NOTHING but that coffee drink and enjoy every. last. sip. I do not want to gulp it down while I'm dodging kids-run-amok (I know it happens everywhere, but I swear to GAWD it's worse in Rome than anywhere else, these parents just walk into grocery stores and immediately abdicate all responsibility as their curtain climbers wreak havoc. Happens everywhere; worse at Wal-Mart, see below.) Now onto the disclaimers... It is absolutely true that if you spend enough time in this establishment, you're going to encounter some very interesting characters. But hey, y'all, Kroger can't help the fact that they're in Rome and native Romans are a very interesting crowd. The real reality show cast-offs tend to congregate at the West Rome Wal-Mart, though, so as long as you're at Kroger during daylight hours you'll be okay. I've seen some interesting things after hours, though, and don't recommend it. My real peeve, and this isn't the store's fault, is that I have gotten more dings on my car in this parking lot than anywhere else. It never ceases to amaze me that someone will walk all the way across a 200-yard parking lot, unload their groceries, but can't be arsed to push the cart the extra 20 feet to the cart corral. Inevitably, those stray carts are drawn to my bumper. LAZY BONES. Still, it gets four stars because it is clean, the staff is usually friendly (you can only ask so much of teenagers, really) and most of all, Kroger is trying to bring healthy alternatives into a Rome, GA grocery store. For this, I gotta give 'em props.

Always a pleasure. The girls in the cheese shop are very knowledgeable and patient with me. They let me try whatever I want and I always leave with too much!
