I came in with a eye abrasion and was in serious pain. They helped me even though I wasn't a patient, and Kit Stockton went above and beyond helping make sure I got the help i needed with a contact lense band aid! I really appreciate the help and Sincerity that she provided!

Dr. Rees is pleasant.However—Front office and office manager are blunt, hostile, and unprofessional. They need some customer service training to say the least.They do not like to fix issues and treat customers like they are a necessary nuisance. After reading the other reviews, I see that I am one of many who feel this way.Pricing is unreasonable. I bought the same designer frame somewhere else here in town for a lot less money.Office staff is hard to work with.I would give zero stars if I could.

I would give these people a zero rating if I could. Reception and optician both were blunt to the point of rude. Getting them to explain something in any detail makes them hostile. And evasive. Also this is the most expensive optical place in town. They charge you hundreds more for the very same product carried by other local optical offices. I paid less at Americas Best for the very same Vera Bradley eyeglass frame. They are also very pricey on lenses.

I had to cancel appointment but if the phone call with the receptionist that answered the call tells anything about the way the office is handling their customers then they shouldn’t be in business. Talked to this same lady when scheduling and canceling appointment and she is very blunt and unprofessional.

Very happy with Dr Rees and the quality of my eye exam. The front desk staff could use some professional development (a bit too brisk during scheduling and other interactions). I will be back, but a negative interaction with staff could change my mind if it continues.

Had a pretty rough experience with a local corporate eye wellness center and came back here since my family has always used them. They got all the mess I had went through with the other place fixed in one visit and were very friendly. Everyone is very knowledgeable and hospitable. I will only ever go here for my eyes now!

These people are horrible. If i could give them a zero i would. My finance went in for an eye exam. The doctor told him that nothing had changed from the year before. They have him a pair of trial contacts that were +5.0 when he needed a +7.0. They said they had to order him the correct strength. Ok We waited a week for the new trial pair because they wouldn't give him his prescription until he wore the contacts for 2 weeks. The lady in the front made him come back in because the rx on his chart was wrong or so she said. Again we had to wait on a new trial pair. The trial pair came in and guess what? the wrong prescription. The lady argues that they didn't make a mistake and his eye have gotten better. I've never seen your eyes getter better as you age. Long story short. He had to go back in and still no contacts.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, THEY DO NOT CARE. If I could put zero stars, I would. Most people have not left their stories behind their low star reviews but here is mine for anyone interested. I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect in a medical facility. I have been going here for about 2-3 years and each time I have been treated poorly. If you are under the age of 30, be sure to bring your mother with you to hold your hand because apparently they don't take too kindly to young women. My main issue is the woman at the front desk. At my previous contact fitting with them, they gave me a different brand to try out and said they would call me to schedule my next appointment. These contacts actually caused me lots of issues where I had to see an optometrist immediately due to eye pain, I went to a local hospital to seek help. Here they told me my eyes were scratched up, most likely due to the new contacts (only had them for about two weeks and had only been worn 3-4 times) and I had to use gel drops and artificial tears and wear only glasses for a little over a month. By the time they healed, it was Christmas time and life was busy. This woman had the nerve to tell me "well those contacts don't do that". Why not say "im so sorry that happened to you!"? I have been trying to order new contacts and a different brand for a few weeks now but keep getting issues because they will only write up my prescription for that certain brand. I went in today to try and get this fixed and only get the numbers/measurements (this has never been an issue with previous eye doctors). The woman at the front immediately started being rude and negative toward me and said that I was supposed to call for my follow up (they said they would call but if there was a mixup-that's understandable) she even pointed to my file and it said "or CALL" but clearly I do not have access to my own file. How was I supposed to know this? I thought they had to call me (which I thought was weird because most of the time the patient calls. I remembered this very well.) The way she spoke to me was unbelievable and I so wish I had recorded it. After this first part I saw her write the prescription with the brand and I asked her if she could write it up without the brand and she said that was not possible. I asked her why and she rudely said again "it's not possible". I just wanted a legitimate explanation. I have SEVERAL previous contact prescriptions (been wearing contacts for 11 years) at home without the brand written down so that way I can try different brands (dailies, 2-weeks, etc.) at my own discretion. NEVER been an issue. She said "it's just what we do and you can't get measurements without a brand". What? Unbelievable. She was rude from the moment I began going there a few years ago. The technicians (I guess that's what they are called) are also VERY rude. I walked out of there saying "forget it, I will not be coming here anymore because you guys have been nothing but disrespectful and not helpful". Instead of being rude to me, maybe offer to fit me for a different brand or maybe offer proper customer service because she truly seemed like my business was never welcomed there in the first place. Only one positive: Dr. Rees is a VERY kind man and does his job wonderfully. However, his staff is AWFUL. And the prices are not affordable whatsoever. I HIGHLY recommend HARBIN EYE CENTER, the wait can sometimes be long but the care is absolutely phenomenal. Don't waste your time at New Vision Eye Care Center.

The staff here were friendly and smiling when they told me I had no other guarantee on my frames except from the manufacturer! I paid a #$@% LOAD for these plastic frames which never would contour to my face. I went back twice for fittings, but to no avail. Of course there was no return because I had had lens put in them elsewhere. There was no consideration for a compromise.......just we are NOT responsible for the fact that your frames don't fit properly. The prices here are outrageous and I would have done better browsing at a thrift store! AVOID THIS BUSINESS1
