This pharmacy provided excellent service two years ago; now they are purposely slow and the staff is unnecessarily rude. Cory and Susan are ridiculously bellicose every time I have to deal with them. The staff does not want to work and it shows in their demeanor. They will not answer the phone and they often hang up on customers pretending it was a mistake. District supervisor, are you reading these reviews? They all echo the same! Hire better staff! Do your job!

Publix used to be the only pharmacy I used--I used them for at least three decades in various parts of the South. Sadly, that bird has flown. It takes days to get refills or even a new prescription that has been called in by my physician.I give them two stars because the staff is so polite and friendly. Do better, Publix!

Our family recently switched to Rome, GA Publix Pharmacy because we thought with travel, it would be more accessible if needed. We have found on multiple occasions when we have requested refills through the app, more than 4 days in advance, our prescriptions were not filled until we called 7 days after requesting refill. We were told they are a high volume pharmacy and the only one in Rome. Basically, giving this excuse when when questioned. First time it happened, I was told to give them at least 2 days notice before we needed it, so I did that. Then, when I was over due on a prescription, I finally had to go to the pharmacy in person to get it. Was told by an associate that my insurance company had been down all week and they is why they had not been filled. She said I'll try again, and guess what? It went through. My insurance had not been down because my husband had several filled during this time as well and it was no problem. I asked why we had not been notified and all she would say was it wasn't their fault. It was my insurance company's fault. I had no idea we would be treated so insignificantly. I guess our meds needed for life functions were not part of the high volume that got filled. I plan to move all of our prescriptions to another pharmacy. Hopefully one that will not ignore refill requests.

This pharmacy is horrible! We changed to Publix Pharmacy a few years ago and they were really good. They filled our prescriptions in a timely manner and were always friendly. For the last year, they have been awful! They will not answer the phone when you call. They take weeks to fill medications, and I literally mean weeks, and if you need your medication sooner, they get personally offended, rude, or flat out lie to you that they're waiting on an order. I've had to call the 1-800 number and the manager countless times just to get my mother's life dependent medication. Publix is known for quality customer care and this pharmacy is not living up to their name. Please hire new employees or a new manager and straighten this place out!

I left the doctors office around 10:15 am and arrived at the Publix pharmacy around 3:15 pm, that is FIVE hours later!! They only had 1 of my 3 prescriptions ready. The clerk was, he seemed genuinely, surprised that I wanted all 3 prescriptions the same day. He told me that they were busy and I needed to call if I wanted my prescriptions the same day. WHAT!?!?? If my doctor called in an antibiotic then I’m sick and I want my prescription within the hour.

I’ve had excellent service since switching from mail order with the exception of one young man messing my refill up for today. I called ahead of my refill date (a week) due to the shortages I keep hearing about… Not to get my meds early. I just wanted him to try to make sure the meds were there by today, just like I have since December. No other pharmacy worker has had issue, they’ve all (except him) thanked me for letting them know ahead of time. Lord knows what I go through…a goofy pharmacy worker don’t make the list, but thought it might help someone? Chris

They are extremely slow and days behind on orders. The workers were also very rude and inconsiderate.

The pharmacy consistently does not give me the correct price for my prescriptions. I have to remind them to use the prescription coupon card every time. The drive through is super slow and they are really behind getting their prescriptions filled. Today was the second time that I am out of my medication, but Publix still hasn't filled it. I was told that they were behind and haven't gotten to it yet. I submitted for a refill through the app days ago. I expect better from a pharmacy. After I get my prescription today, I am transferring to another pharmacy.

I put in to refill my prescriptions last Sunday for them to be ready this Thursday. Then my doctor calls in refills also on all 5 (3 diabetes, 1 HBP and 1 anxiety) of my medications on Wednesday. I had my husband call for me on Friday and they told him that if we don't call them directly we go to the bottom of the Q no matter what. So now it has been 5 days without any of my medication and I decided to go in and get them and still THEY WASNT READY! Said it would be 15 minutes. Well after we got groceries we went back over there and nope...another 15 minutes. So we go check out and I speak to the manager of the store. He said he would get it figured out. So we left and almost home we get a phone call from the manager that my prescriptions are now ready. This is the 4th month of this happening so I will be changing. I love this store so I have been hoping this was just them short staffed but I can't keep doing this.

Despite refilling my prescription online SEVERAL days in advance, I had to wait 30 minutes in the pharmacy just to be told that they wouldn't be able to fill my prescription that day after all, and that I would have to come back the next day. When I came back the next day, I was given a substitute for my normal prescription that has given me bad side effects I don't normally have. Woman who helped me had no sympathy or kindness. I was promised I would receive text updates regarding the situation and never received them. If you know you can't refill my prescription wh not tell me beforehand so I don't waste my time? And they should have warned me that the substitution may come with side effects. Awful service.

Usually super fast. Only once did I have to wait in a slow moving line. And the price here is usually cheaper than the other pharmacies

Usually pretty good, but apparently closing early the day before being closed for a holiday is now a thing.

The slowest pharmacy in town. It always takes at least 30 min to be served at the drive thru with just one car in front of me. I hate this place I really wish she would switch pharmacies

They outright refused to fill some prescriptions because they claimed they are three days behind and said it would be 24-48 hours before they could even consider filling them. It’s unexplainable how they could be so far behind that it’s impossible to fill the same prescriptions I get the same time every month. It’s also inexcusable.
