Last time we went here we saw cute animals and kind people and I was just wondering what the youngest age you can be to volunteer. Please respond and thank you!

Because of the economy and other issues I am short of food for our fur babies. I had to go up to the humane society today. I did not want this but I went. They were great. If you are in need of food go!

They only do adoptions. They do not offer help with anything else. Send you to Alabama for spay and neuter! Do not help with vaccinations or flea medications! They were baffled that I even asked for help and had no clue what to do. Also, quite rude and sarcastic.

From Rome/Floyd Humane Society
The Rome Floyd County Humane Society is a non-profit, all volunteer, community based animal welfare organization. We support a No Kill policy.
The Rome Floyd Humane Society receives no government funding or funds from any national animal welfare organization. We depend solely on the generosity of individual and corporate donors and supporters to fund our programs and services. We provide pet vaccinations to Floyd County animal control, and services such as low cost spaying and neutering, educational programs, and a pet food pantry for the pets of the less fortunate residents of Rome and Floyd County.
