These guys are absolutely amazing. They have incredible attention to detail and really pour themselves into their craft. I’ve had JD and Dran work on several guitars of mine as well as multiple friends I’ve referred. JD is also in the process of building me a custom guitar and always sends me updates and details along the way of the progress. I will post pictures of the final once it is finished!

I meet the man listened to his story of the battles fought , won and overcomed . And it's then that I understood that Warrior guitars are not a run of the mill badge of status quo but the medals of triumph over adversities .

I've been playing guitar and bass for five decades. I had Fenders, Music Man and Modulus basses in my collection but discovering Warrior was a life changer.I started with a used, damaged Isabella from Guitar center. That bass sounded so much better than my other basses I ordered a custom Dran Michael, DM5 and a standard Bella '62 directly from Warrior. Also Warrior perfectly restored a '65 Jazz bass I owned most of my life. I am so grateful to JD for putting all his HEART in making these beautiful, sonically alive instruments. You must play and own one to appreciate them.

After having My Warrior Isabella for 3 months now and playing multiple shows and every Sunday I can truly say this in the best instrument I have ever owned. It plays like a guitar I have had for years and sounds phenomenal! Everyone at Warrior is extremely nice and showed me and a friend around the shop. A great group of people and quality guitar that is second to none. Thanks again Warrior!!!

I just wanted to take the time to send a special thanks out to this luthier, JD, of Warrior Instruments. He has truly been the epitome of the integrity, commitment, trustworthiness, respect, and professionalism that all builders should embody. Every bass I have received from him has been AWESOME!! He delivered everything he promised and if there were any problems he would say; "Send it Back, We will fix." Never tried to run from responsibility and for that I love this company. I am on my 5th bass and will start my final one next year. THIS IS A HONEST COMPANY WITH LOVING PEOPLE! Don't be afraid to trust them: They care about your personal and professional needs. If you read this and call the company, tell JD the guy's review on yelp written by "Blessed by the Best" made you call.

Bought a brand new Dran Michael from Warrior Instruments at their booth at Summer NAMM 2017. I did not take a close look at it, but on first glance it looked superb. Once it was shipped to me in Canada, I had a chance to really have a good look and play it. What a piece of expensive crap. 1. Frets were uneven, choking the first fret. Second and third frets were higher than the first. 2. The neck is straight on the high E side and slightly bowed on the low E side. The dual action truss rod was backed off as far as it would go so there is no way to adjust the neck. 3. The lower frets were not evenly crowned. They were filed down and flattened on the high E side likely to compensate for the neck issue above. 4. A small piece of inlay was missing in the side purfling, and some cosmetic issues (tooling marks etc) So, I contacted Dran at Warrior who asked me to ship it back, which I did. Once "fixed" it was shipped back. However, Dran did not tell FedEx that this was a warranty return, so FedEx charged me tax on it AGAIN. I emailed Dran to ask him to contact FedEx to correct this shipping info error. I did not hear back from him, so I paid PST & GST taxes on this piece of crap TWICE! He fixed the inlay, and redressed the frets. The truss rod is still backed off as far as it will go, the neck is still slightly bowed on the low E side, and the first fret is still choking out. So I sent it to a local luthier in Vancouver who works on gear from AC/DC, Rush, Metallica, Bob Rock, Bryan Adams and a host of others to see what he could do. 1. Re-fret. The original fret install was very messy. Warrior used some sort of hard glue, likely epoxy and the frets were a b**** to remove and took forever to clean the slots. 2. The fret board was uneven and needed to be cleaned and leveled. 3. The nut slot was not cut properly therefore the nut was in the wrong place so the slot was re-cut and a new nut was made and installed. The truss rod cannot be fixed unless the set neck is taken off. Once off it is possible the fret board would need removed to access the truss rod. Essentially, the neck was filed flat so it is now even, and it was re-fretted with a new nut to make it playable. I do not recommend anyone waste the kind of money Warrior asks for the crap they build. I am almost embarrassed for Warrior to actually sell brand new crap like this, especially at a NAMM show. If you're going to spend $5 grand on a boutique guitar, stay away from Warrior and go with a Nik Huber, a James Trussart, or a Teye Guitar, or the likes. If you still want one, do not buy sight unseen online or even direct. I suggest there is a reason their dealer network is almost nil, and finding one to try before you buy is a near impossibility. All I can do is raise my hand in the air and extend my middle finger in the direction of Rossville, GA and shout out a big F. YOU!
