Did not have the van I reserved to transport my family to my brother's funeral. Did not care. Did not offer to accommodate our needs in any way unless we agreed to pay extra for a larger van. I get the impression that when you book thru Priceline, this guy does not really care whether you are happy or not.

Budget Atlanta has the best cars. I often rent cars that have less than 5,000 miles. Alex is great and always does his best to make me a deal on the car that I want. My favorite car rental agency!

I reserved a standard van to transport my family to my brother's funeral in Tennessee. Not only did he not have the van when we arrived- I have the distinct impression that he did not care! No offer to accommodate us with any vehicle that would meet our needs. He did offer us a large van for an extra charge! Why would we pay extra when we did not make a mistake here!!!! He said that he would not accommodate us because we "did not prepay" . I would happily prepaid if I had known that it mattered! I had booked via Priceline and their site said "there is no need to prepay" so I didn't . Conclusions:1. unreliable- you can't depend on them to keep up their end.2. rude- they lack basic customer service skills. And they don't care. 3. uncooperative- they will not make accommodations when they let you down.

Bad service my friend and his mother got a bad car, and that guy Alex didn't help them and was very rough with them...Is a shame for Budget...Get better training in customer service and bring solutions to customers

Bad hero of the day. This is owner of the place-Alex. This guy from russia collecting more and more bad reviews just because of his unacceptable customer service behavior. I think Budget Company should better review people on the brand representative position even if it’s franchise.This is the worst place to make a business with. Do not waste your time and money, also check other reviews of this place. Be aware of bullying here

The absolute worst car rental experience I've ever had. We arrived at the Atlanta Heartsfield-Jackson Airport at 10 AM and got to the rental center at 10:20. We then waited in line for 1.5 hours to get to the counter. The counter agent was so nice (the only reason for 2 Stars) but then after processing everything we were told it would be another 1.5 hours to get our car. We didn't get out of the airport until 1:20 PM. 3 hours in total. That is insane.I don't know if they were short staffed, had trouble maintaining inventory or what, but we'd made a reservation 3 months ago so they knew we, and everyone else, was coming. Budget do something to support your awesome staff so they don't have to go through that, and do something to support your customers so we don't have to go through that.

I rented a car through Expedia from Budget and was given this location as the pickup location. I got a mid-sized truck because it was the best deal. I received an email that night from Budget confirming the rental and then another email from them the next morning reminding me of my 11:15 am pickup. Text in the email literally said, "we've got your car waiting on you". However, upon arriving they didn't have any vehicles for me. He offered me the one vehicle he had - a huge Ram 3500 diesel fuel truck - at a higher rate, of course. I told him I was driving to and from Memphis, so I wasn't going to pay for that kind of fuel. He was indifferent, defensive, and didn't seem to really care. He did call the Marietta location, and all they had was a Ram 2500. His callousness seemed to me that he deals with this all the time. I don't blame him necessarily, seems more like a system issue, but it was very frustrating and his unprofessionalism and lack of genuine concern was what frustrated me most. He even said that if I had paid Budget upfront (as opposed to going through a service, I assume) I would have had a vehicle. I will not go near a Budget rental car ever again.

Truck broke down Sunday night when I headed out to unload. Limped back to my house and called road side assistance. Monday morning called budget who said go ahead and drive it and they wouldn't charge me for the extra time. Took Tuesday off work to unload and return the truck. Returned the truck at noon and the very rude location owner told me he was charging me another day for not having it back by 8am. I explained to him that I had to take a day off work to unload because his truck broke down to no avail. The Budget employees and roadside assistance were great but this location owner is a bad representative for Budget.

The lady at the desk was a real sourpuss. The rate was pretty good for the nice new Challenger I got. I accidentally left my credit card in the vehicle and a nice man called to tell me he saved it for me. When I got there, ol' sourpuss was there but I got my card. The guy I booked with on the phone quoted me one price for deposit, and said pickup instructions were emailed to me. However , they were not . I was introduced to sourpuss when I called for instructions and she quoted me a much heftier deposit amount. Still, I never saw a charge to my account for deposit at all. Overall, good experience but the employee I have referred to really doesn't seem to like her job very much. I'd avoid dealing with her if you can. Sorry sourpuss! Don't wanna cost you your job, but really your customer service skills should be a little sharper in this business.

One of the worst experiences from a company. Should the check engine light be on when I pick up?Reserved a truck 2 1/2 months in advance, and this was my drop off location. When I arrived…. It was closed with a note on the door saying to please visit one of our other locations that are open.The nearest open location was 20 miles away. I called them to make sure I could drop off there. When I arrived they stated they couldn’t accept my truck, they only accept vans.So I went to a third location, and they wanted to charge me an additional $250 to drop it there.Bottom line, it’s in their name and all the other Google reviews. You get what you pay for. Not one of the other locations have ratings above 3 stars and it’s easy to see why.Trash company, trash service, trash vehicles. Stay away and pay a little more elsewhere.

This location sucks, they answer and place you on hold without acknowledging you. I get there it's no cars and nobody calls you to advise prior. The man was literally in the parking lot doing nothing and said oh I did see that reservation not too long ago. Like why are they open??? They should get -5 stars

I wish I had read these reviews before I rented from them, all this happened to me also. Never going back. They claimed the new car smell was from the driver smoking, and added $200 to the price, which will be disputed with AMEX. They are a franchisee and not a company store, so they can get away with stuff like this. Every dollar they sneak onto you bill is pure profit for them.

Alex took care of me if you want to call it that. Worst customer service I've experienced in some time. He only had 1 car, a Kia I believe. $80 a day. Seemed very unhappy that I even walked in the door. Maybe I interrupted his lunch? I ended up going to Avis down the road and rented from them. Much better experience. Don't waste your time here. Alex is disappointed that he gets customers. I went elsewhere just because of his lack of customer service.

The whole process was quite easy and very enjoyable. I booked a SUV for Fri - Tues and got a great Nissan Rogue that was immaculately clean and had zero issues. I did have to extend the rental one day and they were very easy with extending it. Both cust service persons were helpful and kind so I'm glad I went with this location.
