Horrible experience ad others mentioned. No truck and no call to inform me. He stated that he is a franchise and not responsible for calling anyone.

I reserved a standard van to transport my family to my brother's funeral in Tennessee. Not only did he not have the van when we arrived- I have the distinct impression that he did not care! No offer to accommodate us with any vehicle that would meet our needs. He did offer us a large van for an extra charge! Why would we pay extra when we did not make a mistake here!!!! He said that he would not accommodate us because we "did not prepay" . I would happily prepaid if I had known that it mattered! I had booked via Priceline and their site said "there is no need to prepay" so I didn't . Conclusions:1. unreliable- you can't depend on them to keep up their end.2. rude- they lack basic customer service skills. And they don't care. 3. uncooperative- they will not make accommodations when they let you down.

Truck broke down Sunday night when I headed out to unload. Limped back to my house and called road side assistance. Monday morning called budget who said go ahead and drive it and they wouldn't charge me for the extra time. Took Tuesday off work to unload and return the truck. Returned the truck at noon and the very rude location owner told me he was charging me another day for not having it back by 8am. I explained to him that I had to take a day off work to unload because his truck broke down to no avail. The Budget employees and roadside assistance were great but this location owner is a bad representative for Budget.

This location sucks, they answer and place you on hold without acknowledging you. I get there it's no cars and nobody calls you to advise prior. The man was literally in the parking lot doing nothing and said oh I did see that reservation not too long ago. Like why are they open??? They should get -5 stars

I wish I had read these reviews before I rented from them, all this happened to me also. Never going back. They claimed the new car smell was from the driver smoking, and added $200 to the price, which will be disputed with AMEX. They are a franchisee and not a company store, so they can get away with stuff like this. Every dollar they sneak onto you bill is pure profit for them.

Runaway as fast as you can. I made a reservation a week prior and they called me the day before, approximately 2 hours before they closed to let me know they would not be open the day of my rental reservation. I went to change my flight to try and make it and the manager told me he wouldn't wait 15 minutes after they're scheduled to close so I could get my rental. Terrible service. I should've gone across the street to the UHAUL at the Chevron.

Alex was very rude and i was discrimination against when i came in to get the cargo van.. He didny want to give me his name so i will put a discribe him... Older gentleman glasses and salt and pepper hair. The price changed once i got my brother involved... Very poor service.

They did not have the car we wanted charged extra to get what would be normal car. Closes at six drove up at 6:02 and told and told them that traffic was causing a delay and they refused to take wait 2 min. Customer service does not

If I could give no stars I would. The man named Alex is the most rudest man at a business establishment I have ever met. Awful customer service he treated me as if he did not want me to rent a car. He made sure it was known that they are privately owned! Very rude and nasty. Will never recommend this place nor ever come back here. I had a confirmation and he said it's not I'm on his screen so he wouldn't honor it.. he stated he only had suv so I need to pay suv prices instead of my confirmation price.worst franchise ever

As I click on your profile I saw about “his attitude ...” I was going to start this comment like that. When I took all my belongings from the truck to return it I told him I forgot my mask he told me go outside not politely. I am following all the covid preventive cautions. I am running business too. Im just letting them know we require masks if anyone wants we we can provide. Just be polite it is not hard. Keep yourself in their shoes.

RUDEST STAFF IVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!Older Grey Hair Gentleman is Extremely Rude and Nasty!Not to mention they do not honor the rental prepaid rate nor the deposit quote given and paid through corporate.I'll never rent from Budget Again!!!

I made a reservation with budget for a 12’ truck on 6/28/2020 to be picked up on 7/25/2020. I flew from Tampa to Atlanta to move furniture and upon arriving at the office at the scheduled time, I was told they didn’t have the truck available and wanted to give me a much larger truck. I refused the truck due to it being larger, harder to drive and worse on gas. The agents were so incredibly rude to the point I felt blatantly disrespected. So here I am 500 miles from home with no truck and all the rental truck and car places closed on a Saturday. No one attempted to call me to tell me the truck wasn’t available and when I asked why they didn’t call the said “we don’t call customers to tell them these types of things.” Unreal! I will never in my life use this company and I will always tell friends about this atrocious experience!
