Don't waste your time coming here, it's not a real bank. Just a bunch of ATMs. It's annoying that this is the closest one to me now since I moved. I did really enjoy banking with them for the past couple of years so this is very unfortunate.

Unfortunately the worst banking experience i have ever had in my 40 years of banking. The day we went in to open our high interest checking account, the customer service rep. had no clue about much, as any question that we asked of him, he said he didn't know and left it up to us to look things up on our own. We were told that we had to have a certain balance in our account plus using our debit card 20 times or more a month for $250 or more per month. We held up our part of the bargain. I checked our account about 4 months after we had opened it and saw that we had received only one interest credit. I stopped by the Acworth branch where we had opened the account and asked a very nice lady and she looked up our account and told me the reason was we didn't have automatic deposit or automatic bill pay. If i had been told about the direct deposit and the auto bill pay, i would have never opened the account since the company i work for does not offer direct payroll deposit and i would never have automatic bill pay as i don't trust it. I had a good amount of money in the account and when i decided to close my account because of the wrong information, not one person asked me why i was closing it. It blew my mind as every time i have ever closed an account, someone has asked me why they were losing my business. Them asking would not have made a difference in me closing my account. Also i had inquired about a mortgage and a credit card on two different occasions and each time it took them a few days to get back to me by which time i already had my pre-approval for a mortgage. Very disappointing to say the least since i like dealing with credit unions.

Opened a new account here recently and found several of the personal banking reps to be extremely friendly and helpful. Additionally, LGE is in the top 10 CUs in Georgia. They have excellent rates and flexible options.

I don't normally go to this bank location, but it's near where I work, and on particular day I needed to withdraw cash. It was an odd increment,I do not carry cash, ever - who does anymore? You go to a bank when you need to handle your cash. I'm stopped by a woman and told to use the ATM, I explain it's an odd increment and she simply tells me "Oh, we don't carry cash, you'll need to use the ATM. Sorry." What kind of bank does not carry cash? Are you kidding me? I could have saved myself my lunch break and went around the corner to the gas station and used an ATM there. Do not ever go to that location if you ever have to deal with cash, because apparently this bank doesn't understand the concept of cash.
