Although I didn't have my car repaired here, I wish I would've picked this place. I walked in feeling discouraged from a previous body shop experience and the shop manager took the time to do an informal second opionion without charging me anything. He spent about 30 minutes explaining the repair process and the previous work on my car. This speaks so much to the integrity of this shop and I will definitely think of you should I or anybody I know need any body work (hopefully not). Thank you, thank you for being kind, honest people.

Had a minor hood repair on new 2024 Wagoneer that should have took two days fixing a very minor dent and paint job. This was just for the hood. It took three tries and three weeks. Quality and fair expectations is an issue with this location.

Anders at Gerber collision on 11200 Alpharetta Ga provided excellent customer service in repairing my car. Beyond my expectations. I highly recommend!!!

UPDATE: found out they didnât replace my wheel either.) Took 4 months to get my car back when it was suppose to be MAYBE a month had to go in person and found the car in the back completely forgotten about when they told me it was at Hyundai. Got it back and they scammed me, didnât even fix the grill itâs still completely cracked after they told me they would fix it. It was extremely dirty aswell, handprints on the windows, for some reason there is an extra 100 miles on it? Why would you drive my broken car that much if you didnât even fix it. I will be pursuing getting this problem fixed, they have a history of ignoring so if they do that I will involve everyone. Awful company do not waste a dime with their horrible team

It took this particular Gerber location 3 1/2 months to determine that the car was totaled. In the meantime, I am paying for a rental car. They would never return my calls as promised by the store manager, and when I was able to contact someone to get an update, I was told it would be ready very soon, within 5 to 7 days. I would call again, and would be told that some thing else was found to be wrong with the vehicle and they were sending it out for diagnosis. The store manager told me and my insurance company that would they would reimburse me for some of the car rental. After that, they never returned my calls.I was finally able to contact the regional manager who told me the store manager was fired because she wasnât doing her job properly and that he would make sure I was reimbursed for some of the car rental and I should send him all of my bills. Now, he wonât return my calls either. I would never recommend this location.Services: Transmission

Where to begin? My vehicle was struck head on by a sleepy driver while I was not in it, thankfully. Gerber, after some convincing on my part, took me in that day and the circus soon began. Weekly updates were promised, NEVER delivered until one young man finally "heard" my complaints/advise and began reaching out to me after I was at the 3+ month mark in this hellish process. Communication is the key to any successful service business, and there is ZERO communication with this branch. I had repeated a number of times to everyone in the office, including the GM most of all, "good news, bad news, no news - just call and inform me." NEVER happened until the 3+ month mark. I understand parts delays, and labor shortages, but at some point you have to deliver something............. OR CALL ME!!! " I am doing everything in my power to get you this part" - General Manager Well, I found that part, from their own supplier, and had it overnighted on my dime the next day. The failures of this branch are extensive and I believe extend to the corporate office as well. I called and talked to them 5 times, all very respectful conversations, with the requisite amount of compassion and understanding about my troubles, but NEVER received a call back from the higher-ups. EVER! First and only higher-up to call was a district manager or something to make arrangements to talk in person and hand me my keys. For the person who reads these YELP reviews, you will probably publicly apologize on here like you do to all the other disgruntled folks, but you really need to call me directly and do it soon. My anger and disgust is through the roof, and I do not think you want me going into the rest of the details on here. I will make this a weekly column if I have to. They know who I am. We needed ~$400 worth of simple cosmetic work. Once they took our vehicle, and without our knowledge, they got the insurance company to approve over $1,800 worth of work we did not want nor would we have approved if consulted. This additional, unsanctioned work was done poorly and had to be repeated, devalued the vehicle and caused multiple delays in getting the car back. They still haven't delivered a missing part, and it's been over 8 months since we took them the vehicle. They cited being shorthanded and supply chain issues throughout the process, but never explained why they performed all the extra work we didn't request and at the insurance company's expense. Communicating with them and getting feedback on status was very difficult and I ultimately had to physically go there to demand completion of the work or return of my vehicle.Years ago, Gerber repaired another one of our vehicles and it was a great experience. Something has changed and I could not recommend using them now given our experience here.Update: Gerbers' attempt to post a positive response here to my review is just another example of poor communication. They ask me for information about the service (order number or my name) to further investigate. My name is clearly visible to all in my post and they have access to the order information themselves. My advice to them is to chock me up to a lost future customer and use my feedback here to improve service for the next customer.Services: Painting

We dropped a car off at Gerber collision on the recommendation of our insurance company on March 2 for some relatively minor collision work. We were told the work would take 8-10 DAYS. It is now April 21, and we still do not have the car back. We call each week and are given various excuses and told the car will be ready "next week." Well we're almost at the 8 WEEK mark and we still don't have the car nor any idea when it might be ready. We are BEYOND frustrated with the lack of communication around our repair. To say they over promised and under delivered would be a huge understatement. DO NOT use Gerber collisions for your auto repair.

Even though this place is far from where I live, I chose this based on review and insurance suggestion. It's been 20 days now, I don't know when my car will be repaired(just front bumper and headlight repair). Only info I have is that they are still waiting for parts to start repair.Update: Didnât resolve my issue. Thatâs the only call I received. As of todayâs update(1 month) part came broken and my car wonât be ready until next week.

They were backed up but took my vehicle in were. Classic Collision, who I was recommend to refuse the vehicle.. But not their neighbors. Car was totaled but?ââď¸..drove on a railroad track...it was raining hard. Don't judge me?ââď¸

I never leave reviews because it is so rare that I feel it is necessary but I had such a good experience with Gerber collision and their repair of my Toyota Camry. From the beginning they were so on it as to keeping me up to date with what was happening and their customer service people (particularly Stephanie and Ashley) were really exceptional as to friendliness and expertise. My car is repaired like it never happened. I haven't had an issue like this car problem in years and I am so happy I used Gerber, who made it easier. I have no affiliation besides this repair but if you want quality work without crazy stress use this company and you won't be disappointed. I was hit on the passenger's side - damages extended from the front of the car all the way to the back bumper. I have used Gerber before, and they work with my insurance company, so they did the initial quote. The first estimate was that the car would be in the shop for about 6 weeks, due to difficulty getting parts and also labor shortages.Gerber sends you an update each time the car has reached a new stage; i.e. parts are here, car is in paint, etc. Not only was the car completed in just over 2 weeks (they asked if they could move it to the Woodstock location to expedite repairs), but the repair was beautiful. I have a 2011 Prius that is a rather unique blue color - the paint and repairs are perfect! Professional, friendly, informative, fast - I would definitely recommend them 100%!!
