Decent store! Seems a bit sad and quiet in the store

The night staff aren’t helpful at all. When i asked questions, multiple nights, they asked me a question back “Is it not on the back (product)?” Obviously not if i’m coming to you asking a question…they close at 9, but don’t go after 8, they don’t want you there.
Another situation, while checking out, i went towards a person to check out (only because i had a product that needed a stealing device removed - i prefer self-checkout ALWAYS) the girl proceeded to tell me that ‘they have self-checkout’ as in she didn’t want to check me out, then saw the stealing device and said ‘she could take that off’. That’s literally why i was coming towards you, because i needed help to get the device off so i could check out.
If i can figure something out myself, i will. I prefer not to ask questions or ask for help. But if i’m coming towards you, clearly i’m requesting your help and service.
I love Michael’s and their products, but their staff are awful, at least the ones i’ve encountered at night.

Lady behind the framing counter argued with me about having a frame made without the artwork present, until another associate came and said they could do it. That was fine. Then when I went to check out the same lady said do want 20% off with no mention of signing up for a credit card. Asked me for the last 4 digits of my social… lady at framing has as good communication as the frames on the wall!

They need more staff.
Made an online order at 7AM for pickup, it wasn't ready until 9PM. When I went to pick up, i chose curbside and clicked through until i got the message that someone will be out shortly, I waited 10 mins before I gave up and went into the store to collect.

They do not want your business after 8:50pm. We all know what time you close and that you want to go home, but you still have a job to do. An employee stands in the doorway to alert you they’re closing in 10 minutes before entering, then the other employees create a fake reason to ask you if you need help only to be reminded they’re closing in 8 minutes, then the loudspeaker alerts you they’re closing in 5 minutes (this 5 minute notification is acceptable and standard), THEN they all disappear and you have to wait in line to check yourself out. Poor experience at the Stonebridge Sq Roswell Michaels, management needs to get it together.

My daughters were shopping today and were treated rudely by the cashier at checkout. They were made fun of by what they were buying and were also asked to do something online and it would only take a second, but my daughters stated they were in a time crunch and he then continued to badger them telling other people in line he feels sorry for this generation and is worried about the future. His name is Martin and I would think does not represent the views of Michael’s. It’s unfortunate that companies do not hire people who align with their values.

Nice selection of craft supplies. Holiday items were 60% of the day after Christmas. Lots of things to choose from.Cross stitch section is very small but this is the only location that seems to have all DMC threads in stock!

The employee there I think his name was Dave was amazing he helped me out with everything I was purchasing showed me where my coupons were on my app that is great customer service especially at this time of the year

Placed an online order for pick up with this store. After a day of no pick up notice I had to call several times to finally get someone on the phone. They were going to have someone else call me back which they never did.So, I called again.. at this point almost two days after the initial order. They said they would look into it. Then I get an email that my order was cancelled and everything I needed was gone. Well…of course it was when you go to fill an order 40 hours later of a popular item during the holidays. Go to another Michael’s instead.
