Writing a review while standing in line, there are about 25 people in line & 2 cashiers who are working very hard. The cashiers have called for help 3-4 times which means there are people in this store who could help. The person who looks like the manager seems very busy as I watched her walk to the jewelry department and then back to the front. It seems like she’s working on pricing an item that has taken her about 20 mins. I have been waiting for about 25 minutes. Thank goodness to the woman cashier and man cashier who worked to get all of us through the line.

**********UPDATE*******I received an email from TJ Maxx and a very courteous Customer Service person listened to my complaint and could see why I was so upset. He went out of his way to make things right so I’m taking time to say that this is the kind of service I like. I will definitely take my granddaughters shopping there again. Maybe try not to have the same person answer my complaint. It’s nice to know that some stores really want your business.
But Christmas I bought a bracelet and a necklace for one of my granddaughters. The first time she wore it was the last time because it broke in half. I went to see if they could replace it or fix it. They were not helpful at all, we are sorry but without a receipt and it’s been too long so you might as well trash. It was only $25 but it was the disappointment that my granddaughter experienced that saddened me. Live and learn stay away from their jewelry items

Due to Christmas, shopping lines are extremely long. After shopping for an hour and having my cart full I saw the payment line!! Stretched around and around even down an isle! Being over 75 I could not stand in line for 45 minutes or more to check out. There were no sitting places along the line. TO MANAGER: Please consider allowing those over 75 having a dedicated check out line for reasonable wait times during times of extremely long lines in your store. I LEFT my cart with over $250 worth of gifts.

I visited this store recently and none of the employees were friendly. One employee had a nasty cough and she kept coughing without covering her mouth. Won’t be back here.

Ask an employee for help, she told me I had to ring the bell. I ring the bell and I waited for someone to come over, but keep in mind while I’m standing there several employees have walked by and not once did anyone ask if I needed assistance with anything. The same employee that told me to ring bell walked by as well and just looked at me, I just decided to just leave. I will say this the employee at the register were so nice and polite.

I like shopping at this TJmaxx and I go there frequently (like weekly). However, their employees frequently recommend me to get their credit card desperately, even though I refused every single time. Maybe employees can get bonus by doing that, or they could get fired without meeting quota? Idk. But I suggest the leadership stop pushing your employees doing that, it’s EXTREMELY annoying to our customers. It’s not my responsibility to help you meet your quota. How I wish they have a self-check out counter without me being bothered. They ask for donations every once a while, which is less frequently compared to credit card so the donation is more bearable. Still, I feel capitalists made huge profits during pandemic, the owner of the store should donate himself/herself instead of pushing our middle class doing it. At least you made lots of money from me lol.

I used to enjoy shopping here at the T.J Maxx until today. I received the worst customer service from multiple employees. They were very rude. The store did not have a lot in stock. It was very hard to find new styles. I went to the fitting room. And I was hounded by the fitting room associate to open a store credit card. Then I found items on a shelf. And this associate came over to me very rudely. said that I could not pick the items up from the shelf. I would not be returning here anytime soon.

This TJ Maxx is nice and organized. Wide selection of household goods, and clothing. Don't go in there looking for shoes, their selection is small.
