The place is mainly a gift shop ( with super helpful and friendly staff) and a place to go fro information and suggestions for local historical places to visit. It is also the place to go to get your tickets for the light house and the WW 2 Museum.

These people are so proud of St. Simon’s and it shows. Answered questions and told stories. For $20.00 you can walk up the lighthouse (129) steps 20 steps then a landing all the way up. See the living quarters, then drive over to the WWII museum. Several hours of pure enjoyment.

This is a beautiful place to visit. Great area for walking near the beach. Very well cared for and landscaped. Climb the steps of the lighthouse for a lovely view.

My Dad and I had a blast! Captain Tim put us on the fish quickly. We probably caught 50+ fish throughout the 6 hour inshore trip. Everything from reds, trout, rays, bonnetheads and ladyfish. I'm an avid fisherman, but fairly new to saltwater. I had a lot of fun just watching and listening to Captain Tim. It was a great experience to learn from such a knowledgeable Captain. I highly recommend Captain Tim and plan to fish with him again.

First class trip on a beautiful, clean boat, with excellent tackle. Enjoyed watching Capt TJ's prowess catching baitfish. Minutes later we're in Jekyl Sound watching tarpon crash all around us. Soon we were catching the fish of a life time, 65 lb. Tarpon. Hooked another Tarpon but he got away, darn-it! We hauled in a shark though. Then Capt TJ chased schools of Jack Creville, but we couldn't pull one in. Capt TJ is professional and knowledgeable, first class man. We will be returning to Jekyl Island just to able to go out with Capt TJ again.

I've fished with Capt. TJ several times a year for several years now and have never had a bad experience. Whether it is Tarpon, Cobia, Jacks, or what ever, Capt. TJ knows how to fish them and where to fish them. He's a great guy who's interesting and easy to get along with and quickly adjusts to the skill level of who he is taking out. I highly recommend Capt. TJ for your next trip, whether inshore of off shore. My last trip was a Tarpon trip which did not disappoint. We boated a couple and had several other exciting strikes. At times Tarpon were rolling all around us - he definitely had us on the fish!

Thanks Jeff! It's always a pleasure and every trip has been a little better (and warmer) than that first one!

I always look forward to fishing with the Nodine crew! Best of luck with the new baby and make sure you bring him to the coast ASAP!
