I attempted to sell some items at Mixed Nuts. I called to inquire about my items progress and was told very condescendingly that I did not call at the right time. I later found out that I was speaking to the owner. This had been apparently explained to me at the time of drop off which is untrue. The sales person was rushed and did not explain that I have to be “on the list” for a check. Why would I need to call to be put on a list for the things that I obviously wanted to sell? I gave them at least $200 worth of clothes and I am extremely disappointed. Do not bring your stuff here to be sold. It is a very dishonest business.

From out of town and needed an outfit for family pictures ASAP. I found at least five outfits that I loved. This is a great consignment shop. Wide variety of styles, sizes, brands, prices. Great collection of shoes and dresses. If you are looking for unique pieces on st. Simons this is a great stop!

As an avid luxury consumer, I do like shopping here and have for many years, but do have a couple of insights that hopefully will be accepted as constructive criticism:-employees seem pretty lethargic and not terribly interested in their jobs. They’re typically buried into their phones. Meanwhile, dressing rooms are untidy and customers not being assisted to a room (left holding a mountain of clothing in some cases).-pricing seems unresearched and many times, aspirational at best. I found MULTIPLE cases of Shein, Forever 21, Target, Wal Mart, and other low tier brands being priced above what can be found online or in stores. My family I shop with also noticed this. Our opinion is that perhaps items are being priced with a scarcity mindset as there are not many retail shops on the island. I personally shop consignment to score a deal on nice brands, not to feel ripped off.Overall, I enjoy shopping and these points, if corrected, would make the store experience many times better!

I visit St. Simons about 4 times a year and try to check out this consignment shop. True, they have nice merchandise! But it is also true that their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The 4 times I have gone there this year (2022) the employees do not greet me, ask me if they can help, and they don’t thank you for shopping. They totally ignored me each time I shopped there this year. ( as recently as Dec. 29, 2022). They aren’t even friendly if you make a purchase. I think they size you up when you enter through the door and if you aren’t a regular local, then they don’t put forth the effort to give you any sort of attention. Nice shop but management needs to have higher customer service expectations from their employees…every single day.

The sales lady was very friendly; beautiful clothes and accessories; very nice shoes; prices are decent; space tight to walk around in. Parking minimal because of being shared with other businesses beside it.

The atmosphere just wasn't welcoming. And didn't seem like they appreciated your business. And with our purchase of clothes asked if we wanted them in a bag...are you kidding me yes we want a bag!!!

Happened upon this gem when we were on a bike ride and stopped for lunch nearby. So glad I did! This place was a treasure trove of great finds. Store was well curated and organized. Only wish I was on island longer or more often--this would be a regular haunt.

Some of my favorite clothes come from Mixed Nuts. Great deals on the racks outside (one jacket was marked down from $155 to $10). Inside it's busy, but a very good kind of busy. They had a lot more consignment than new but I see many more new items. The back room is the same as always, high end clothing at hugely discounted prices. And beautiful fur coats if those interest you. Great over all store that has been on the island for years. Beware of limited parking shared by multiple businesses.
