Righton Books is a superb and adorable bookstore located in the Redfern Village area of St. Simons Island. It offers a broad, comprehensive, diverse, and interesting selection of titles, including illustrated books, the latest fiction and nonfiction, and a large collection of cookbooks. The handsome establishment has a charming ambiance, smells wonderful like coffee and new books, and features delightful nooks and crannies to explore. The very friendly, welcoming, helpful, and cheerful staff make visitors feel right at home. An adjoining coffee shop serves delicious coffee, tea, and baked treats. The shop is surrounded by other eclectic shops and restaurants within a short walk, and parking is usually quite easy. It is a lovely and gorgeous little shop where visitors often find themselves buying something wonderful they didn't initially plan to purchase.

I try to visit the local bookstores wherever we travel to stock up on old favorites and books by local authors. Stopped in this shop a couple of years ago and on this trip they had new mysteries by a local author. If you are a bookshop fan you need to make a stop here while on St. Simons.

Very friendly staff! Loved that they had a selection of Peter Pauper Press notebooks/journals.
