They were not open when they were supposed to be on Saturday. Came at 12pm they were closed came back 2hrs later they were still closed. The hours say open from 9am-5pm on Saturday. This post office does whatever they want. Terrible.

Going to the postal office is one of the most painful errands to run, but Mr. Sykes makes it so much easier! The place was packed and he was friendly and patient with every customer he spoke to. I wish all USPS employees could be more like Mr. Sykes!

My last 4 packages (all time sensitive) have not come at all!!! I've been living at my residence for 3 years w/no issues from any other delivery service. One of the occurrences i called the support line. They told me to go the usps store i went, then they told me to call the support# that told me to come there. Another instance i called to speak w a manager at 3pm no answer. I called 15 times between 3 and 5 no answer. Poor customer service and extremely lazy. UNACCEPTABLE!!

On Saturday, March 29th, After visiting another USPS that wasn’t open, but the web indicating it was. I traveled through Atlanta’s finest traffic to visit The Sandy Springs location. Wow what a treat. Two people in line, and two others walk in. This African American woman causally leans on the counter while scrolling through her phone. She proceed to briefly look up, only to tell me and the other customer, that one the guy is finished with customers in line, he’ll be going to lunch and for us return at 3pm. I asked why you here? I’ve never known a USPS to close for lunch. Is this something new? She replied “good day sir.” As if she speaks proper English. Again I asked why can’t you help the customers inside, why are you here? No response. I go outside and literally watch her continue to turn away customers. SMH. Has anyone ever heard of were close while he takes his lunch?

I strongly advise against establishing a PO Box at this location due to ongoing service issues. Despite advertising 24/7 access, this is not the case—you can only access your box when staff are working, which is inconsistent and unreliable.
For over a year, this location has frequently lost mail, failed to deliver it to paid PO Boxes, and disregarded its posted business hours, as noted in other reviews. It took multiple visits and conversations to retrieve my mail, which had been sitting in the back office for eight weeks.
The front desk attendant, C. Skyes, repeatedly blames a colleague, Yolanda, for failing to sort and deliver mail on time. He has also cited his and Yolanda’s pending retirements as justification for poor service, openly admitting that mail is left unsorted for weeks due to staffing shortages. This lack of accountability and concern for customers is unacceptable.
That said, I do appreciate Byron’s assistance after weeks of frustration. I sincerely hope management takes action to improve operations at this location.

I have quite a few post offices I can go to and this one is the best. Honestly, things have changed since the pandemic so there has only been one person. Everytime I go they are very nice, pleasant and I trust my packages will get delivered like they should. When the line is moving slow it is usually a customer that has multiple packages. They always apologize and thank me for my patience.
Most of the workers have been there a long time so they know what they are doing. I have been to other post offices in my area and it took a very long time for my packages to get to the destination. I have no complaints.

It would be great if this location would post their hours and stick to them. It is randomly closed a lot during the day at different times. Often closes early with no warning. Ok for staff to have lunch....better to have shift rotation so the establishment does not have to close....best if the closing hours were posted and could be reliable. USPS fail.

This crappy Post Office had a sign on the front door 13 days before Christmas saying that they were completely out of stamps. I had to go next door to Kroger to get stamps so my 92 year old Mother could mail her Christmas cards. Unbelievable❗ ☹️👎🤬
