“Theresa and I stopped in yesterday. Such an amazing place. If you want something completely one of a kind and unique. This is your place. If you're close stop in and buy with confidence. Oh and get a $1.00 bag of fish food and feed the trout.”
“Cody was GREAT help! His shop some wonderfully gorgeous pieces - we bought a couple Gohonda (sp?) mugs on Valentine's Day this past weekend. We love them! Cody explained how he made these unique mugs and their history - which we really appreciated. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be back. ~ Joe & Erin Hill McCormick, SC.”
“Lots of local art to view or purchase. Informative videos about the area. Pair of lederhosen on display from the guy who turned it into a German town. Kind of cool. Don’t miss the heritage of the town! Must see.”
“I had a wonderful time visiting. It was easy to make an appointment, and they were very accommodating and flexible in finding a great time that fit. The Museum itself was amazing, as it showed the history of The Gourd Place, different kinds of Gourds, and interesting examples of its use from around the world. My favorite section was their shop out back, filled with DIY materials for your own Gourd Projects. They also had a variety of handmade pottery, Gourd Treehouses/Containers, and even their own books (which I HAD to get!). I would love to come back with more friends and family. You can’t visit Helen without visiting The Gourd Place!”
