Just came to my house and harassed me. I should've called the police. Another woman and man showed up a few days ago and kept telling me they were sent by someone. I told them I'm not trying to waste their time and for them to leave. Now today I pull in my driveway from work talking to my husband on the phone and another man and woman show up with an ADT sign. He said he runs the local store and that they had an appointment to drop off a sign that was paid for already. I said there was no appointment and that they needed to leave along with the couple last week I had leave. He then proceeded to stay and try to ask me for a description of the last couple that was here. He asked me what they should do with all of the cameras that are paid for and if they should just give them away. I made it clear there were no cameras and they needed to leave. We just moved into our house and I do not want people showing up knocking on my door pretending I wanted them to come. Not good at sales at all just made me feel super uncomfortable forcing them to leave my house and having to argue I do not want their services.

Do Not Sign Anything ! Quoted $63/ mo. Next week Installers spent 3 hours here. Put a tablet in my hands to sign. Then corporate sent an Agreement needing a docu-sign signature. First bill was $66.66, second bill was $70.44. Salesman Antonio Bean promised to "look into it and correct". Nothing happened. Spent over an hour on the phone with Customer Service. Said they had signatures from the Installer and Doc-sign . The documents-sign email was 10 pages long and, like an idiot, I assumed the pricing was what Salesman Antonio Bean quoted me, in my living room, the day after I moved into my new home. Then Antonio Bean promised to give me a two month promo to settle the difference. Now he is ghosting me. Pricing difference will be over $420 over life of Agreement. I've written to Georgia Consumer Affairs office in Atlanta. I thought " bait and switch" selling techniques were solely used by car dealers.....

Absolutely the worse customer service ever!!!
My mother who is 82 had been with ADT for 28 years, Her system recently(3 weeks ago) starting beeping because the battery was low, she called and they told her they would mail her a battery. She received the battery and then called for someone to come and install it, They wanted to charge her $150 to come out. She refused and after talking to 3 different people she finally got the fee waived and an appointment was scheduled….Shecssited all day for g th hem to come out and they never showed-when she called she was told she did not have a appointment!! So she rescheduled for today 8/4/24….Technician called and said he was in the way and wanted to make sure she was aware of the $150 service charge which she was not, because they told her it was waived!!!!!
So I would not recommend ADT!!

Spoke with a customer service representative about lowering my bill from 65 to 42 per month. The following month, I began getting charged both 65 and 42 for a total of $107/month. I called several times to find out what the issue was with the double billing and the waiting queue was over an hour. I finally got ahold of someone and they told me they would look into it. The double charging continued for 6 months until I finally cancelled that credit card. They then sent me to collections and I am paying off a $1000+ bill. The last payment is due next month. Today, I got a call saying I owe money on my second account. I never signed up for a second account!!!! They are saying I have a personal and a diy account. The personal account was the one sent to collections so I still owe money on the second?? This is insane. I will never have an ADT account again! This is a SCAM!!!!
Also, while I had the account, the window sensors would go off every day and I received several additional charges on a monthly basis (one time my bill was $80).

Mike was sent out to install the equipment and he was very nice and explained everything very well! Out of every service worker that has been here to help us install things in general at a new house Mike from ADT was by far the best person I’ve met! We are very happy with the service!

My install was from this corporate office. The installer was thorough in explaining everything and ensuring I was in the loop of where placement of cameras and sensors should be. It was a very clean installation and he was very courteous, professional, and respectful of my home. I hope more people are lucky to have the same person I got.

Don't waste your money. Install was messy. Have been having problems since day one with the system with no solutions. Don't even get me started on trying to get the service canceled. If you feel like blowing hundreds of dollars for a service that doesn't work and then spending many hours and days to cancel then feel free.

Service repair deserves 4 stars. This 1 star rating is given to ADT's phone customer service. Rude, pushy account representative. She talked over me during our conversation elevating the volume of her voice as I tried to ask questions. She was condescending and annoyed. Out of necessity, I repeated the phrases "Cancel" to what ever question or statement made by this overbearing Rep. Cancelling is an adventure and will try your patience. We hate their control panel which was not intuitive and kept glitching. Not a user friendly system. We ended up turning it off

Moved into a new home in a gated community. Ricky Evan’s cold rang our doorbell to sell his security system. Yes the irony is funny that he thinks we need more security, but on top of that he was trespassing in a gated community - real gem of a dude.

When we moved into our home we knew we needed a security system. Everything was fine untill lightening took out our modem and our cameras haven't been working since. I reached out to the office to speak to someone and woman who answered refused to let me speak to anyone else. Was rude, and nasty.

ADT is a terrible company. Their system didn’t.m work. They never sent a tech to fix it and then sent me to collections over a $200 bill. Didn’t even try to figure out what was going on. THEY DONT CARE BOUT YOU!

I would like to find common issues and solicit an attorney for class action at this point. They make you jump through hurdles just to cancel. I had service and moved it to our new location. I am still getting billed and have been transferred 3 times. Each time it forces you to wait 20 minutes to hear they don’t handle my concern. So I continued to be bill

Very deceptive to get you to signVery deceptive to get you to sign. I signed with them and when I looked at the cancellation policy I was told that I can cancel with 30 days notice and pay the extra month but when I cancel now I am told that I have to pay the balance of the contract. Probably my fault for listening to the sales person and not getting it in writing. Next time I use a self install system, they are honest and upfront about their policies. they got me this time but never again5/8/2023 update i agreed to have them move my system to the new home and the saga continues. They show up and have no idea that they were supplying the equipment or it was a transfer. They try to sell me more than I had ordered. They also installed the control panel. At that point the supervisor called and said he couldn't get in touch but they worked it our that i would not have to pay anything BUT I would not get everything I was told I am getting. I help off because I wanted to talk to the company before I moved forward. They had to remove the panel and now I have 4 holes in my new house. It wants the install companies fault it was BullDog security who promised the world but did not come close to providing. I am cancelling everything but i had to call ADT. I tried but there was a 45 minute wait. I opted to have them call me back. I have my doubts I will hear back.

Tired of these door to door salesmen. You would think a company who sells SECURITY would understand how uncomfortable and scary it is for a stranger to show up unannounced and park in your driveway. And then they just straight up lie and say they were scheduled to come. When we first closed in our house in SEPTEMBER a man kept showing up daily to annoy us. And now it's February and a different guy shows up. We are not interested in your services and seriously find a better way to solicit them, thanks

Let me start my off by saying rip off. Adt apparently was charging me for service that was never received. I have been paying attention to the fact that I keep getting the run around but are still trying to charge my card for payment. I have too many options to keep getting rip off.
