The American Legion is a friendly and affordable place with a great vibe, often compared to "Cheers." It offers excellent service from staff like Becca, Angie, and Sara, who are professional and welcoming. The bar serves great, inexpensive drinks and has good food, making it a popular spot to unwind after exploring nearby Forsyth Park. Many visitors enjoy meeting new people and find the atmosphere warm and inviting. However, the building lacks wheelchair accessibility because there is no elevator to the second floor, which is a downside. Overall, it is a nice place to visit for good drinks, friendly service, and a relaxed environment.
I went their tonight for the first time, they have a new bartender named Amber and she was amazing. Definitely going back

Menu was a little different than what I'm used too, but food was good. I enjoyed looking at pieces of history while dining and the staff was very friendly.
