I'm so relieved to have found Andrea! She knows her stuff and transformed my hair don't to a definite DO! The cut and color were both spot on. As others have noted the atmosphere is very relaxed and I love that it's a one on one salon.

Andrea did a phenominal job with highlights, toner, and style while providing such a relaxing experience. Do you feel you often get grilled by your sytlist like it's an fbi interrogation? 30 blowdryers going at the same time? Not here. Quiet, calm, efficient setting. Full line of Aveda. Clear and swift communication.

One of the scariest things about traveling for 3 months is knowing you'll need to get your haircut along the way. My husband and I chose Andrea and we could not be happier. Cutting short hair can be challenging. Our styles look just as we hoped for. Thanks Andrea

I just moved from another state to the Savannah, Georgia area and was in need of a new hair stylist. I googled hair salons in the area and AMP Salon popped up. The plus is, it is an Aveda Salon, which I am use to going to. All I can say, choosing AMP Salon was the best decision I made. I went for my consultation and fell in love with the salon, it is so welcoming and quaint. Andrea the owner is the nicest person, she made me feel so comfortable and knew just what I wanted for my haircut and color. If anyone is ever in the need for a hair stylist in Savannah Georgia, Andrea is the person to go to. She is an expert in haircutting and color. She also waxed my eyebrows and they came out beautiful. She did just what I asked!!!

Because I was with my mom in Savannah helping her recover from a surgery when the shelter in place orders went into effect, when they were lifted in Georgia but not where I live in Florida, after seven weeks of root re-growth and an out-of-shape hairstyle, I had to find a stylist - fast! But like any woman who has gone to the same stylist for over a decade, I was scared to venture out. Thus I wanted to do my research first. I go to an Aveda salon so that’s where my Google search began. As I sifted through the Savannah Aveda salons online, AMP Salon owned by Andrea Powell stood out because her training matched my stylist’s back home. I called and asked if she was willing to use the color formula my stylist used and she said that wouldn’t be a problem and gave me her email address. My stylist also sent Andrea notes about cutting my hair since I was lucky enough to be born with cow licks on each side of my bangs. Andrea took those tips too. She also asked me my preferences and listened to what I had to say. My hair looked great in the end and I left AMP Salon a very satisfied customer. If I find myself in need of a stylist in Savannah again, I will definitely call Andrea.

Came in for a consultation, was treated like a waste of time and sort of brushed off like I wasn't a priority. Guess she had enough clients not to need my business.

Andrea is a talented hairdresser. She takes the texture of a patron's hair, the shape of the patron's face, and the paton's needs (eg, for an easy-care or a dramatic hair style and/or color) when creating a style. She uses excellent products. Her salon is clean. The location in downtown Savannah is convenient to on-street parking.

BEST hairdresser EVER! Don't cancel your appointment, you won't get another appointment soon. Andrea is the #1 hairdresser of all time. She pays such great attention to detail. Hands down the best.

Amazing! Lovely little go-to salon for a quick cut. Went for a consultation and she knew exactly what I wanted. Was so happy, I schedule an appointment for the next day.
There are 2 chairs, 1 washbowl, it's quaint and cozy. The owner is very pleasant and friendly. She did an excellent job on my bro's hair (who can be tough to please! :P) and he recommended her and I could not be more pleased!
