DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION USING UBER. I CALLED TO CONFIRM MY RESERVATION BEFORE ARRIVING. UPON ARRIVING, THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED TO REGISTER FOR AVIS PREFERRED TO COMPLETE THE BOOKING. I REGISTERED AND THEN THEY SAID "WE CAN'T FIND YOUR PHONE NUMBER SO YOU NEED TO CONTACT UBER". I ASKED IF I COULD RENT DIRECTLY AND THEY SAID NO THEY WERE SOLD OUT. THEY MADE UP THIS EXCUSE TO PREVENT THE BOOKING. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY ON TWO UBER TRIPS TO GET HERE AND BACK TO MY HOTEL.

extremely unprofessional , I use enterprise a lot at this location the short lady has quite a attitude She has uneven dark brows I didn't get her name , I have a French accent and wasn't sure what she said and she continued to mock me then judges the debit card I gave her then continue to say they won't be Able to take my amex credit card , The manager is quite helpful but the young lady should choose a profession that isn't in customer service

i booked my car, got my confirmation and everything, went to pick up the car and told me they didn’t have any cars left. if they didn’t have any cars left they should’ve called or let me know, bad communication from this company and its employees.

We reserved a Toyota Rav 4 (or something similar) at the Savannah Avis location. We specifically wanted something smaller because we were traveling to Beaufort and Charleston, SC and knew the streets would be narrow in these historic towns. When we arrive they presented us with a Dodge Ram Crew Cab. We presented the original reservation, made more than 3 weeks ahead of time, and were told this was the only vehicle available and that Avis reserves the right to change the vehicle. We took the vehicle with hopes of switching it out at the Hilton Head location on our way north, but calls to the Hilton Head location always rolled over to the national call center. We were told by a call center rep that there was a Ford Escape at the Hilton Head location. We asked her to reserve it and she said she could not do that; we'd have to show up at the Hilton Head location and the car may or may not still be available. This was 90 minutes our of our way. We would have been happy to make the drive if we knew there would be a car waiting. We continued trying to call Hilton Head, and our calls continued to roll over to the national call center. We asked to be directly connected to the Hilton Head location and no one was able to do that. Avis failed to provide any level of customer service at every turn, and we will not use this service again.

Not sure why this Avis center operates and falsifies plus even with reservations that are priced with all the predatory fees still find ways to up charge and have no problem hammering your credit card . I made the mistake of not going with my wife to pick this sub par vehicle.The Uber Driver rental car my wife was given was a joke I had to have the vehicle professionally cleaned and I myself had to repair the damaged rims to make this car presentable to do ride share work plus of course the reservation she was given online by Avis app for Uber drivers was wrong and was charged 25% higher and when ask why the change of rate the agent said the Uber car rental rate is the same no matter what vehicle you rent we could have gotten a Nissan Rogue but was given the worst car on the lot .The way the agent states this makes Uber look like the Bad Guy .I talked to Avis customer service and Uber and found this to be false plainly stated the app for Uber drivers only gives you options for ride share and there should not have been a change of rate .

Young lady working the counter was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Vehicle was clean and very nice. Return was easy.

The worst experience imaginable. Truly a nightmare. I don’t have time to write the book it would take about all the things that went wrong. Horrible customer service, they lie about what time they close and will overcharge on everything. Eventually the corporate office refunded most of my money. The office on Abercorn has the rudest employees I’ve EVER encountered in my life. Don’t rent from these people. Turo, Hertz, Enterprise, ANYONE is a far better option. Just DON’T DO IT WITH AVIS!!

Everyone at the avis shop located in downtown Savannah was always friendly. They always tried to help me feel less troubled. However, there were times when I was in trouble when I visited to rent a car because there were not enough vehicles available.

They are very kind. We always get our car on time with no hassle. They were even understanding when a deer hit the rental we were in. Good customer service!!

We waited over 1 1/2 hours to get a car on Friday 9/22 with the explanation that we're short staffed.Also reserved a camry...got a highlander...too big for us...not easy in or out...gas guzzler...never again Avis!

Avis is the worst system and customer service ever! They’ve over charged my car! They’ve had me riding around in a vehicle with an expired FL plate. And then when I went through hell to get another car, they provided me with a dirty vehicle that still had trash in it. The customer service line is fraudulent! No one says the same thing. Nothing in notated in the system. Avis is horrible!

Upon arriving to the place it was a lot of information that the website did not get give you when you rent a car it's a whole bunch of credit cards that they do not use so I recommend that before you go there to rent a car you need to find out exactly what kind of card you can use because a lot of cards they're not accepted other than that I had a wonderful time the service was great
