The service was exceptional. I had to pick this car up after 1 am. Faith was on duty and was extremely helpful. I scratched my hand when I was leaving the plane in a random accident, and she even was able to give me a bandage. The car was great too. I will definitely use Budget again in the future.

I reserved an economy car from Budget at Savanah Airport for a stay on Hilton Head. When I arrived I was told the only cars of that class in their fleet were electric. I checked with the resort and the nearest charger was 2 miles away. In addition the counter told me the car needed to be returned charged or I would be charged $1 per mile under full charge. Since Hilton Head is 40 miles from the airport, this could expensive. If this is their policy I simply cannot rent from them.

Terrible service at Savannah airport. Waited in line for over 1 hour. Car was not at all what I reserved. Computer systems had little to no information that I had bothered to pre-register. Drop-off was worse. Post-drop receipt showed that system identified wrong car to me. Over-charged by $400+ for a "one-way" fee when I picked up and dropped off at the same airport location. Never again.

We had a very positive experience with Budget! The entire process was easy from booking online to the check in process when we arrived at the Savannah airport. The vehicle type (size) we reserved was available. All Budget staff we interacted with at the counter and lot were friendly and helpful. The SUV (Jeep Grand Cherokee) was clean. We will utilize Budget again for rental car needs.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I rented a car through budget in Savannah and my total was supposed to be only 81$. We only had the car for two days because my brother passed away and we had to come back home so we called and asked if we could return the car to our airport at home. They said that was fine and fully disclosed the extra 450$ fee. I checked my bank account and called budget customer service, the lady was very nice and helped me out.

Waited over an hour in Savannah GA with a huge line of people to get the car a previously booked. There was nothing wrong with the employees or the car. It just seemed like they could not handle the volume. Other rental counters were efficient- no lines building up there.

In looking at the past reviews it seems that this Budget location hasn't figured out its staffing problem. Well over two hours to get a car with a reservation. Just don't. I will never rent from Budget again.

Budget says it perfectly. Be prepared for low rate service, waited nearly an hour for a car to be delivered to airport terminal. Then gas tank was not full but I was instructed to bring it back with a full gas tank. Beware renting a car from Budget, expect problems, hassles, and be prepared to wait!

I would steer clear from this location for any sort of auto rental. Please be aware if you prepay your rental you will not be reimbursed should you need to turn it in early. By the way, this policy (IS NOT) clearly stated in the Rental Contract. The staff here would not even consider a partial reimbursement even though they have my credit card on file. The other issue is that I rented a compact and they gave me a full-size automobile. There were smaller compacts sitting on the lot. I also had to thoroughly clean all the glass in order to see clearly because of all the haze and water spot stains on windows and side mirrors. Poor business practice in my estimation. That will be my last time with Budget. Does any company want to earn business these days?

we stood in line for over two hours waiting for our car. We were told that there were no cars available. The staff moved at glacial speed. I called customer service and they told me that there were plenty of cars available. Customer service offered to change my location but guess what? the alternative location was CLOSED!!!! When we finally got our car, the parking lot was full of budget rental cars. No explanation or apology was given. When we returned the car, there was no place to park. Some one wearing a budget shirt said leave the keys and a receipt will be emailed. I have rarely seen such poor service.

Terrible experience picking up a car at the Budget Car Rental/Avis at the Savannah/Hilton Head Airport. It tool me over an hour to receive a car after checking in, even though I had a pre-paid "FastBreak" that should have been ready for me when I arrived. Many other folks waited just as long as I did. Whatever their process is at this rental outlet, it is broken. I will rent from another company next time I fly into Savannah.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but they billed me for "seven tenths" (7/10th) of a gallon of fuel. I filled up the vehicle at the Sam's Club near the airport (filled until it wouldn't take any more fuel) and drove 2.3 miles to the rental return area at the airport. They billed me $6.99 for fuel, claiming the vehicle had 18.5 gallons when it left and was returned with 17.8 gallons. First of all, how could they possibly know exactly how much fuel was in the vehicle when it left. (they didn't drive it around the lot, to a car wash etc... since the last fill up?). Secondly, how can I possibly return the vehicle with the exact amount of fuel (to the fraction of a gallon), if I don't even know what that amount was to begin with or where it was last filled up (to drive the same distance). Looks like they found a way to charge an additional hidden fee in an effort to boost their profits.

We had a fabulous experience with Budget here. This was very refreshing, as our other Budget experiences have been absolutely horrendous. Typically we have experienced the most rude and unknowledgeable staff you could ever imagine (phone customer service and Minneapolis airport for example). The staff here was WONDERFUL! So kind and efficient and knew what they were talking about.Car was pretty good condition. Some sand in the cup holders.Wish there was a process to submit damages before driving the car off the lot.

We waited in such a long line to pick up our car that we reserved ahead of time. The line to pick up our car was longer than our flight. None of the other rental car services have lines. The bugdet/avis line is longer than the queue. Will not use this company again.
