During one of the most difficult times of my life—the passing of my beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin, friend, Barbara Jean Thorpe McKiver—the team at Campbell and Sons Funeral Home demonstrated an exceptional level of compassion, professionalism, and care.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Campbell & Sons Funeral Home for the exceptional care and support they provided to me and my family during one of the most difficult times in our lives. As we prepared for my mother’s funeral and burial, their team was not only professional but also incredibly compassionate and attentive to our needs.
My sister and I worked directly with Donovan Campbell, and I cannot speak highly enough of his service. Donovan was kind, respectful, and sensitive to our situation. He guided us through every step with patience and empathy, making sure we felt supported and informed throughout the entire process. If I could give Campbell & Sons more than five stars, I would. Words cannot express how grateful my daughters and I are for the support and care shown by the entire staff during our time of mourning my grandson. They prayed with us, cried with us, and laughed with us. Latoya Kelly-Murray took care of the most minute details and that mattered to us as much as the major details. Thank you! I would recommend Campbell & Sons ten over!!

Campbell & Sons Funeral Home did an amazing job on my father's obituary. It was clean detailed and fit perfectly for who my father was. Donovan was very attentive, and answered all of my questions. I would definitely refer this funeral home to anyway that needs great professional service.

10 May ‘25 went to visit a family members grave at Hillcrest Abbey West today but could not. This funeral business had their vehicle pulled all the way off the drive and right on top of my family members grave. Disrespectful! Disgraceful! Terrible person who did this! I would have said something to the man standing there but I saw a procession coming in and I didn’t want to be disrespectful to the family. There’s plenty of room for two cars to pass on the drive without being so uncaring and pulling on top of graves. I’ve never seen anyone else in 20 years park on a grave anywhere not to mention a funeral service vehicle. Awful!

I would like to express my gratitude to Campbell and Sons on behalf of the Harris family for their professionalism and compassion in helping us get through a very trying and emotional time following the death of our mother. The staff's understanding of us from the first time we met till the conclusion of my mother's ceremony is beyond words. It got my family through a really tough period. I want to thank Donovan in particular. In just eight days, my mother was buried thanks to his patience with us during the process. Outstanding service.

A person driving a truck with the Campbell and sons logo was driving erratically and cutting people off in traffic around Tallahassee. If the driving is any indicator I don't want someone who's going to rush to get my job done. I called to report to the number on the truck saying the driver was driving crazy, The gentleman on the phone who I assume is the owner told me to mind my own business.

I'm not sure how this place received 5*. I guess no one has had to use them for out of state burial. My family choose this place because my auntie passed unexpectedly. To make a long story short. She had to be Shipped to Miami. Funeral was 10/28. Cremation was to follow. But.... A death certificate is needed. Every time we call its a different story all to receive a pending death certificate ???. Nothing can be done with a pending death certificate. Than to be told we had to call the medical examination office ourselves to see when the death certificate will be completed. Found out it was completed call Campbell back today some one answer, saying Per usual the person you need to talk to isn't here... RIDICULOUS ITS 9PM STILL NO CALL BACK. I GUESS THEIR ONLY GOOD LOCALLY ?
