I have been using this pharmacy for a little over a year, and on multiple occasions, they were unable to fill my full prescription due to stock issues. What I was never informed of—until recently—is that I was still being charged the full price, regardless of whether they could provide the entire prescription. For example, I was charged $30 for 60 capsules, but when they could only fill 30 capsules, I was still charged the same price.
When I last picked up my medication, the manager checked me out, and I asked her about getting the remaining capsules and the pricing discrepancy. She told me she would leave a note on my account, as the pharmacy usually only honors pricing adjustments for a limited number of days—again, something I was never made aware of before.
Today, when I called to address my concerns, I was obviously very frustrated after realizing how many times I had unknowingly overpaid and feeling completely taken advantage of. Instead of acknowledging their lack of transparency or taking accountability for failing to properly inform customers, I was met with a condescending, “This is our policy” response, as if my concerns didn’t matter. To make matters worse, a technician named Sam hung up on me after I expressed my frustration and simply asked for a record of what I had paid for versus what I had actually received. When I called back and spoke to the manager, she admitted to removing the note she had previously promised to leave because the pharmacy only allows a 10-day window for adjustments—yet, once again, this was never disclosed to me at any point.
The lack of transparency, poor customer service, and failure to properly inform customers—many of whom rely on these medications for their health and survival—is completely unacceptable. People with disabilities, dementia, and other medical conditions deserve clear communication and fair treatment, not misleading pricing practices that result in them paying more for less. The way I was treated when raising valid concerns only added to my frustration, and I am extremely disappointed in how this situation was handled. I hope the pharmacy takes steps to improve its policies and customer service moving forward, because no one should have to go through this just to get the medication they need.

Nothing but poor service and notifications from this business. I have waited 3 days for my medication only to be told that it is still not ready. No one ever called to tell me that it could be mixed with flavoring or the reason that it has taken so long to prepare. I have had to do all of the calling. They will give me a time that it will be ready and when I call them it is not. This is not the first poor similar experience that I have had with this business. Unfortunately, they are the only one around. I do not trust or recommend this pharmacy. Try an online service instead.

Spoke with staff this morning pick flavor for meds was told it would be ready at 3pm . Go there and no one can find the prescriptions. Well you had them this morning !

i visited this pharmacy yesterday ton pick up a allergy prescription that was called in by my allergist Wednesday morning about an hour after leaving the doctors office i got a call and email saying that my prescription was ready to be picked up. when i arrived to pick up my prescription the person up front was very taking orders and transactions was very nice to me because at first my card declined and she took her time with me helping me correct the issue to where i could pay for my medication. After i payed for my medication the pharmacist came around the corner and consulted me on how to mix and measure the medication to make sure that i knew how to give my self the dosage of the medication that my doctor wanted me to take , she also warned me of all the side effects of the medication . Great pharmacy highly recommend and will be going back in the feature

Great place to get prescriptions specifically made for YOU. Every BODY is different, so ask your doctor if there are more suitable prescriptions that can be compounded for your situation and body.The only downside is that they do not file insurance, but they give you the documentation to file with your insurance for reimbursement.

Being new in town & having a fur baby in desperate need of compounded meds for his heart is confusing & stressful but they were great at getting buddys meds straight quickly& even at a lower cost than expected. They were great!

We were coming down the coast on vacation when I accidentally threw away my son’s (literal life or death) medication when cleaning out the car at a gas station. I called my pharmacist, who contacted coastal. These guys had his compound medication ready as I was passing through Savannah. They went above and beyond for my son and I am eternally grateful and cannot praise them enough.

I highly recommend Coastal Compounding Pharmacy. I have used them for years. Even when I relocated to a different city, they continue to provide my compounded medicine timely. The staff is always friendly and helpful when I call with questions.
