Seldom do I provide feedback about lapses in quality of service that I experience. However, I feel compelled to do so this time for both the Crystal Nails business owner as well as former and current customers who may have encountered similar issues and potential customers considering scheduling future appointments.
I received a good pedicure service. Nevertheless, the manicure service provided by the same technician was mediocre at best, which was perplexing. The nail technician’s skills and attention to detail were inconsistent with professional standards. Nail shaping and application of the polish was below standards and a challenge for the nail technician. The technician seemingly intentionally applied a third coat of color to two (2) nails while ignoring the other three (3) on the same hand. I immediately gave feedback of the error to the technician, and another technician intervened to “translate” the problem. A close bystander technician found the incident as well as my feedback amusing and openly communicated the incident to other technicians and customers throughout the salon - unprofessional behavior to say the least. I expressed my disappointment with her behavior which only prompted more of the same unprofessional behavior.
Subsequently, the third coat of polish was removed and reapplied thickly – that resulted in another issue - which extended the appointment.
Now, I understand the drastic decline in ratings including lost recognition for “Best of Savannah” since 2019.
I expressed my dissatisfaction with the quality of services and unprofessional behavior to the owner before my exit, and he waived the cost for the services.
In conclusion, I recommend skill assessment and further training as needed coupled with a focus toward customer service satisfaction to hopefully regain “Best of Savannah”.

Evelyn did a terrific pedicure and add on of foot massage. My feet thank.you. kelly is also awesome and so sweet. The salon.is very clean and very organized. They make guests feel special!

I went here for an acrylic set. It was an unpleasant experience. There were 3 people who worked on my nails. Kim did most of it and she rushed through it and then just got up and left and someone else took over. Then later on another person did as well. My nails came out bumpy and uneven as if they didn’t try or care to fix it. Nail polish can’t fix bumps or anything it just gives color. The nails also only lasted 6 days and I have an easy job so it wasn’t my fault. I won’t recommend going here. If you do please request anyone but Kim she sucks. I wasted money here and I’ll never make that mistake again.

Crystal nails in Savannah is terrible the manicure did not last two days had a manicure and pedicure French style done and it was terrible within 2 days the first day it looked good 2 Days later the Polish just kept peeling and it was supposed to be gel nail. Gel nail does not peel that fast they charged me $100 and I went on vacation and it was terrible I would never recommend anybody to go there they are too expensive and poorly done work

Every time I go here they are NEVER open at 10am- hey are always late. You have lost my business! Just a suggestion- being on the phone the entire appointment is very rude!

I called last minute to see if anything was available and they told me to come in. I wasn't in a rush, I was able to wait if needed when I arrived. They rushed through my gel manicure. Uneven edges and polish stuck under my nails. Cuticles barely touched. I also got a regular pedicure. The poor girl seemed very new and uncomfortable. I had to ask her to even out my nails after she cut and filed since they were crooked. She hit my cuticle a few times with the clippers. She put acetone in the nail polish - I know it's used to thin the polish, but why? There's no way it'll last as long. An older women, her mom, came over and took off, added more acetone to the polish. I asked why and if it lasts as long because acetone takes off polish. She got a new color and started over, which was fine, she offered. I wasn't picky. When I went to pay, I was SHOCKED they charged full price. $65 for both. I usually do my own nails, but didn't have time. Unfortunately, don't waste your money. I was more than happy to wait for people who had more time, but they insisted on squeezing me in.

I went here for a few months until they disappointed me and I feel that I have a very good idea of what the service is like overall.. The staff are nice enough, their cleanliness practices need to be reviewed - you should not use any tools, Emory boards, powder dips or any other things on one person and then use the same thing on another client without it being thoroughly sanitized. The powder dip is a jar that everyone and their mother put their hands in.. that is gross and I pointed it out to the nail tech who was nonplussed and said I was the only one who ever had an issue. I think the health department would have an issue as well!!I went in today and had a huge chunk of my eyebrow waxed off which is traumatizing and literally made me cry. I would post a picture but am ashamed of how my face looks. I am extremely dissatisfied. There is no fixing this and I will have to wait for my brows to grow back.. the nail tech apologized and refunded me for the service which I take as an admission of her wrong doing. meanwhile I have to go out in public like this.. I should never have trusted a nail tech with my face. She had done the wax before but today she was ham-handed and royally f* me up. You lost a client today

I can't believe this nail salon remains in business. We were in and out in 20 minutes for a regular pedicure. They did not cover my entire nail with polish and a single coat of color, no clear coat. My friend received a lumpy polish and they were rude. The worst experience I have had.

They always treat me well. I usually get a deluxe pedicure, because I have diabetic issues with my feet, and need the nails and calluses serviced. I also get deluxe manicure with a color that appeals to me. Blue with silver sparkles ✨✨✨.
