Giving 2 stars because they had what I needed but the level of professionalism from the cashier was pathetic. Not sure if it is because I am wearing an Ace hardware shirt or what. After paying for my items I looked directly at the cashier and said thank you ! Who in turn completely ignored me and began talking to another employee about what type of medications he’s on. I won’t be returning. In retail customer service and customer satisfaction is what makes a company. Not the fact your the oldest hardware store in savannah. Don’t get complacent and forget what actually keeps your doors open.

Everyone in the store is so friendly and helpful! They fixed my lawnmower pronto! And works great! They have a wide variety of product! I love shopping local!

While camping in Savannah recently, I need to refill a propane tank. I pulled into the parking lot and set my tank on the scale and went inside to request a refill. The gentleman behind the counter immediately called for an employee to help me. A very friendly guy met me outside, and while filling the tank, we exchanged pleasantries. He then carried the tank to my vehicle and sent me on my way, having thanked me for my patronage. The business looks to have everything and more that a great hardware should have, and a friendly staff to support it.

A Great mom & pop old fashion hardware store. That’s well stocked with very a knowledgeable and super friendly staff.They have rental equipment and a on site small engine repair shop with a well stocked parts departmentJust great local people taking care of your hardware needs

Excellent place to take vacuum cleaners for repair. I have used Butch for years, and he always fixes the problem at a reasonable price. I highly recommend him for repairs on vacuum cleaners.

Every single time I go to Maycrest Hardware I get greeted by the cashiers in the most friendliest of ways. As I walk deeper into the store every employee says hi or is just so genuinely nice. It's quite uncanny and I absolutely love it. In this modern world that we live in it's not often that I get this sort of treatment and it is quite refreshing. Keep up the great work over there folks. I'll continue to shop there and spread the good word.

Once again Maycrest Hardware comes thru! I looked all over Savannah for a product with no success. I should have started at Maycrest. I found it and at a good price. They not only have products, they have practical and helpful product knowledge.

This place has all the little things you didn't know you needed till you came in. If you have a project that needs alot of screws you can by them by weight and save yourself some money for better supplies on the finish.
