The guy African American (black), my friends some like one over the other myself I like white German American Indian nottttt Caucasian German American Indian ; anyway , the guy that is taller and thinner he's literally always there at least when I go there he is maybe we are on the same schedule and also the Indian guy I think excuse me if it's not Indian anyway these two guys are the heart of the store if you ask me . They are always here asking you how your doing do I need anything , I didn't notice but now I'm seeing reviews with expired things being sold he noticed (Indian worker guy), noticed my stuff was expired and said o it's expired would you like a little discount I said sure very little dollar helps me . Anyway, he's so nice , sweet soft tones , and the African American guy I always forget to look at their name tags I will loook and come back with their names next time, anyway the thinner African American guy that works there he works mornings I think he opens a lot and the other Indian guy works afternoons evenings I think that's when I see them most anyway . They are just so nice and helpful always willing to help without the faces and or sounds just doing their jobs well very welll sometimes I can get a giggles out of the African American guy he's quiet

Just had the worst customer service experience with nyjah. I never write bad reviews for places but this was the most inconsiderate experience i’ve ever had. I had a doordash order that was not going through with my dasher card so she kept my order in the back of the counter as one should. I was calling customer support to have my card go through and she requested I signed a receipt for her to cancel the order. I told her to keep the order because it would take at least 3min for me to figure out my issue. She told me I was holding up her line (there was no one in line) and proceeded to cancel my order. She then took my bags and started stocking back the doordash order (8 items in total) I had just arranged. I would never assume that anyone was being prejudice towards someone but my girlfriend was checking out with her and stated she said “hello how are you” to Nyjah, Nyjah kept silent and didn’t treat my girlfriend with respect. I cannot assume anything nor do I want to but Nyjah seemed to be very kind to everyone else but us. I am going to make a complaint to the hr department of dollar general but had to write this review because that was completely uncalled for and unnecessary. I had to cancel my doordash order which costed me $15 and put me 30mins out of my way to have a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE to be mean and disrespectful towards me.

For the manager that was working Last night on 4/17/2024 she has ranged me up couple of times she given great customer service she has helped me with my card when it was given me issues very knowledgeable very nice went above and beyond to make sure I was having a awesome shopping experience. Will continue to shop at this location

Closing time is at 10:00, I pull up to DoorDash at 9:50, regardless of the 10 minute window, closing time is 10:00 P.M, not 9:52 P.M. at any job I’ve worked at we close by the website/store hours provided for customers. Savannah is the first city where businesses closes when tf they want, what a sad city with sorry employees.

Went into the store to purchase clearance items. The store refused to honored the items in the apps. The manager on duty called a manager that was home and still didn't honored, even when he used my phone to scan the items with my phone himself. I reported it to corporate and no change was made or honored. They logged me COMPLETED out! Now I can't clip coupons to my account. Shame on yall!!

Not bad, the selection and variety could be varied more. I though can not find a reason for how dirty the store was. I can comprehend a shortage in labor, but at a certain point the company has to stop using that as an excuse and either raise salaries to make the company more appealing to prospective employees.
