A Perfect Savannah Getaway – Unforgettable Stay at River Street Hotel!
Our stay at River Street Hotel was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm Southern hospitality and the charm of historic Savannah. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—right on the iconic River Street, with cobblestone walkways, unique shops, and the peaceful rhythm of the river just steps away.
Our room was beautifully restored, blending modern comfort with classic character—exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and large windows that gave breathtaking views of the Savannah River. One of the highlights of our trip was watching the sun set behind the bridge from our window—it was absolutely stunning and felt like a scene from a postcard.
Breakfast at the Broken Keel, which is connected to the hotel, was delicious and convenient. It added an extra layer of charm and comfort to our mornings.
If you're visiting Savannah, do yourself a favor and stay at River Street Hotel. The atmosphere, the views, and the incredible location make it an unforgettable experience. We cant wait to go back!

The inn is located between Riverstreet and Bay which is great but what’s better is the service from the staff, this is the best service I’ve experienced ever, and the lady who check us in named Jesse went beyond excellent. Thank you so much for making our stay so great

Avoid this hotel. Parking situation is horrible. Customer service was horrible. Room wasn’t ready at 4 PM. Told to wait. Meanwhile we had been traveling with a sick baby and needed the room ready when promised.
Skip this hotel and just book the Hyatt next door.

Let me start by saying this was a first. The first time we booked our hotel through Travelocity and the hotel never received it. During check-in, we found out our room was never booked, even though we had our itinerary. This was during the 4th of July weekend which meant All rooms in every hotel would be taken. The manager offered a room that was going to be (VERY) noisy and asked Ms. Cassandra to discuss the room and why so many people complain about it. IT WAS PERFECT FOR US! We had river side views, a huge window and a comfortable King size bed. The firework show was right outside our window which made the night even better. So happy everything had worked out.

River Street Inn has quickly become my favorite stay in Savannah. The restaurants are incredible, the rooms are nice and cool with comfortable beds. The staff at the desk were courteous and the kids enjoyed the complimentary taffy!
The location couldn't be more perfect, you can take the elevator right down to river street at the large riverboat.
If you're looking to come to Savannah and enjoying river street; you'd be missing out to not stay at River Street Inn!

this is an old place, floors creak. the bathrooms need sprucing up. dirty floors,tile.shower had poor pressure. staff was efficient.the best attribute of this place is the location.

I had a short but sweet stay at the River Street Inn. I love non commercial hotels. This is a lovely property in a great location on the river. The staff was kind and accommodating. My room was large with a four poster bed set against a brick wall. It was within walking distance of anything you need restaurant wise. Lovely place.

From check-in to check-out, River Street in did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and treated us like royalty, even our valet was great. Our room was beautiful and so, so comfortable. The hotel location can't be beat, with restaurants and shopping at every turn. We'll definitely stay here again.
