James and the team at ITAS are business life savers. We have multiple streams of income that without their help would certainly not be handled appropriately. They are very wise when it comes to business management and taxes. We will soon be changing over to ITAS for our state professional organization and we are ecstatic about it!

I had 3 people who didn't know each other recommend James & ITAS. I've had a few different people do my taxes over the last 10 years and James is the best, he's more willing to educate and dive into the details with you to get you the best result. If you're self employed especially, you're likely leaving a lot on the table with a less knowledgeable CPA. Lots of them only seem to want to plug in a few basic numbers on their software and call it a day.

We used ITAS last year to file taxes and had to pay a penalty because our accountant gave us the wrong amount to pay. First he said it would be taken from our bank accountant and then when followed up after the filing deadline to find out why the money we owed was not taken out, he told to send a check. We normally file on our own but were trying to establish a relationship with a good accounting firm as our income is progressively coming from various revenues. Regardless would not recommend this company - they weren't able to handle 2 income family - simple W2s. Turbo tax at home software did a better job! - IN RESPONSE TO OWNER COMMENT - we choose not to move forward when contacted by ITAS this year for filing taxes this year. Instead offering to remedy the situation the owner wants to blame customer. Great business model - you lost a customer - thanks!

We don’t use them anymore because we found a more reliable and reasonably priced firm but they won’t take us off their list and continue to email us over and over. I’ve asked them to stop and remove us from their list but they won’t.

I worked with this firm for one reason, Mr. Lee. The other accountant is nice too, but not as competent unfortunately. Mr. Le is gone now. But for over a year I had to put up with the nastiest receptionist I've ever had to deal with in my life. Every conversation involved her using a condescending tone, brushing me off, or blatantly snapping at me. With Mr. Lee, gone, I finally mentioned it to her and tried to laugh it off, I even try to make her feel better, only to have her hang up on me. As much as I like the accountants, I just don't have the continued patience to deal with someone so emotionally unprofessional. And her name is Krystal, with a K. That's what she snapped at me too. lolRESPONSE TO REVIEW RESPONSE -Responder, you don't have anyone by that name? Then your employee falsified her identity. Find someone to fix my tax issue? Mr. Lee already resolved the issue, which I am very thankful for. And I paid in full. Not a good fit your you? Lol OK. I hold no issue with your firm, aside from your employee who is suffering internally, that is the only explanation for her behavior. Your lack of professional empathy, however, gives greater insight to the overall temperament of your firm. Let me assist you - the appropriate response would have been - Tiffany, I don't know of anyone by that name, however, we are surprised and upset to hear about this. Would you please give us a call to discuss further. We appreciate your business and would love to continue working with you. Please note, this is just an example and not an invitation. I shall politely pass on any further exchanges from your firm via message or business transaction.

We paid for a service that was not completed. After searching for an accountant to file our personal taxes as well as estate taxes for a deceased family member we were reassured that Innovative tax would be able to take care of everything for us. We ended up paying more than we were quoted by a lot, which we didn’t argue with. However after not receiving any paperwork back from the personal state taxes for the deceased family member, we checked the state website and realized the taxes were never filed. When I called innovative tax a month and a half ago, I was told everything was all set and there was nothing else we needed to do. Which was not the case. After calling again the other day, we received a call back and were told we had to sign and send them in personally. The reason we decided to hire someone to do these taxes was that we didn’t know what we were doing and paid for someone to do that for us. There was a lack of communication on innovative tax solutions and therefore we would not recommend them.

I highly value James and his team at Innovative Tax. I've used their services for years and they are always patient with me (as a non-tax pro taxes are not my favorite thing).They offer personal service at a great value. They have taken the time over the years to get to know me and my family and know our unique situation. The peace of mind it gives me around filing taxes for our business and personal affairs is invaluable.We highly recommend!

What an excellent group of professionals. We have been looking for a professional group to guide us through some unknowns in relation to tax codes and owning / operating businesses. This group knows how to guide you through the process as well as point us toward areas of saving Money and being more successful with our businesses. They are very responsive to questions and get the job completed in a timely manner. My only regret is that we did not find them sooner!

James Rahal has been our CPA for over 11 years, we have rental property, sold and bought multiple homes, as well as been audited (resolved successfully). Throughout all this time him and his staff have been professional and provided EXCELLENT customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone needing Tax and financial services.
